Just for comparison:
Fatal Frame: 32/40
Fatal Frame 2: 33/40

In that first video, why do the ghosts have so much cleavage... You can't see it too much thankfully, but it's weird. The rest of that video has nothing of the sort though, so it was fine at least, and the playable character seems fine as well.
Also to those saying FF has never had wobbling, someone had posted that in the FF2: Wii remake, the twins could wear Zero Suit Samus costumes and there was quite a bit of it there on their behinds. It seems like generally you have to be looking for it, but it was there before at least in the remakes.
Yeah the thing that rubs me the wrong way about 5 is the unnecessary fan service. Who plays FF games for this shit...no one so why is it there? Ghosts with their tits out, this whole wet and sexy thing......TK pls.

Yea Nintendo gotta take a chance and send it here..cannot wait to watch some Fatal Frame 5 streams
the recent NicoNico stream which I missed https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e5ol9eKC47M
I caved in after all, downloading now! I had to delete a few games off the HDD though :x
Bought a Wii U for the game and picked it up today. Waited until night time and started it up for the first time.
So far my impressions are both positive and negative. The game itself is pretty stunning and could be creepy.
But the use of the pad actually takes me out of the game. Maybe for something like Mario in a well lit room it's different, but when attempting to play a horror game in the dark it's a bit like a cell phone in a movie theater. The camera effect is cool to a degree, but it's not worth it. It's really too bad there isn't the option to play the game in classic mode with the pro controller, unless it's simply missing the gyros to make it work properly. I find myself clutching the controller close to my chest so that I can't see the screen.
It doesn't help that the controller's screen is much brighter and completely different in color tones (what should be a cold, dark game is all warm, sunny tones with the poor screen on the Wii U's pad).
Hopefully I can get used to the set up so I don't feel like I'm constantly being distracted from the game ... by the game.
There'sAre there any actually interesting costumes?
What's the framerate?
There'sa kimono and school uniform for Yuuri; person hasn't unlocked any for Miu, but Ren gets something interesting.

You do know you can turn the brightness down, right? I always play on the lowest setting anyway.
Pressing the home button, you can adjust the gamepad's screen brightness. It really bugged me with Wind Waker, but after adjusting it, the tablet experiente turned out ok to me.But there aren't separate brightness options of the screen and for the tablet, unless I'm mistaken. I can't find settings from Nintendo to alter the brightness of the tablet either.
What? Who doesn't like kimonos?I suppose that would be a 'no' then.
Does anyone ever actually use the kimono costumes? They're in every single game, and I've never cared about them whatsoever.

It's amazing because you don't have to replay the entire game if you missed a spirit photograph.- Initially, I was worried about this game having a Mission structure, but it's still very much a linear and story-driven game, it's just that this new structure lets you replay chapters and do score attacks/speed-runs more easily, so it ends up working out for the better.
Ehhhhh those are boring to me.the kind of people who don't like bloomers or gym clothes
IIRC it only had 4 subsidiary KT divisions working on it.So has any seen the credits of FF5 to see if maybe an outside company helped with it, or was it indeed a solo effort by the FF team?
Asking since FF4 was at least co-developed by Grasshopper, not sure about FF2 Wii, think that was a solo effort as well.

What exactly do you mean by that? Fatal Frame has always had beautifully rendered female leads, but it has never treated them exploitatively.
So the 3rd game never came out on the original xbox?. They need to do hd remasters of these games
