I'm going to bed and I'm confident that the servers won't be up by the time I get up.
Hoping for the best, though. If they have to do a rollback and the backup was not done after the servers went down I will lose out on two Metal Gigantuar gear drops from the morning right before the maintenance started. I mean it's not much with these horrific drop rates but their 5 Lapis and 5 Gilsnappers won't make up for the loss.

JP servers finally up and my first free pull from the Anniversary celebration is Rikku. Yes! 1000 free lapis too because of the long ass maintenance.

When JP had a long-ass (almost 24 hours) maintenance they got 1000 Lapis, let's see how it'll be in Global.

I wouldn't start over. It's why I quit the previous 2 mobile games I played. First one was WWE Supercard. They released season 2 right when I was just able to complete season 1 stuff without using any money (google play rewards). Then I was playing Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes and they released items you equipped to your characters. It was basically a reset because it broke the game at that time and I wasn't in the mood to regrind everything. I set Darth Vadar as my leader and said goodbye to the gaf guild.

I enjoy the game, but not enough to start over from the beginning. Way too much of my time already invested in my current account.
