A bunch of Latin America countries had desperate housewives versions. Brazil had one as well. Got cancelled really fast.

I remember Japan tried to do "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?", and it tanked because Japanese people didn't care about poor people becoming rich; they cared about rich, celebrities doing stupid shit for a chance to win a vacuum or something cheap.

Like many game and entertainment shows, "Who wants to be a Millionaire" is not a US IP, though.

From what I've seen of the Japanese version of Cold Case, it's pretty good and has great production.

I also enjoyed the Japanese anime adaptation of Supernatural.

There's a Korean show called "Missing 9" that is greatly inspired by LOST.
 
My Coworkers let me know about Indian Everybody Loves Raymond which I guess was a big failure. And I love how the brother in the Indian version looks a lot like the brother from the American version
