E: just bought an HE Escort for 200k, won an HE Torana, checked the list and realized I was only two or three cars away from owning every available HE car. What's the deal with the 2012 Mini though? I've barely ever seen it.
It's the last car missing from my garage. I don't think it was ever available ?

I have a extra 1968 Dodge Dart HEMI Super Stock Horizon Edition (Credits Boost) and 2014 Lamborghini Huracán LP 610-4 Horizon Edition (Skills Boost) that I am trying to sell if you are interested (or anyone else).
It has not been released yet, nobody seems to know why, the only person that would have one is Don Joewon Song who was gifted nearly every car when he lost his save game and cloud save, it seems strange to leave a 2012 Mini John Cooper Works GP as a possible unicorn car though.
well right now I'm missing a wifi adaptor (and I need more space, only have a 256GB SSD). GTX 1060, 16GB Ram, i5 7600, more I'm probably forgetting.
edit: I'm only missing the Jaguar F-Type Project 7 HE.
Edit 2: Also Rama you have no idea how big of an upgrade is it from playing on potato laptop to on that. (if I can try to get a Wifi adaptor first)
Before the second expansion, people believed the Mini would be tied to it. Or maybe a future event.
It's just really awesome that Turn10 / Playground was able to make such massive strides in performance for Forza Horizon 3, even if it did take many months to get there.
They could have easily waited for their next game and used the improved performance as a selling point - as gross as that would have been - but they instead made good with all of the current customers and they've proven that their next title should be much better right from the outset.

So I finally got the urge to dust off my xb1 because I felt like trying ori and the blind forest. Suddenly I'm loving the console and wondering what the best racing sim our right now has to offer.

But it is one of my all-time favorite racing games
can you upgrade parts of the car and tweak performance? or is it pure racing/customization?

You can both upgrade parts (engine components, brakes, weight reduction, do engine conversions, install turbochargers...) and tweak things like brake balance, gear ratios, steering, suspension etc.
Or you can do none of those things and have a great time anyway. The beauty of FH3 is that it has no problems adapting to the way you want to play it.

Oh man that would've been amazing! I wish they'd put the damn thing into the game. The noise it makes!
at least some of the cars can fit the engine in it, the quad rotor has a great sound

Ive been playing the horizon 1 rally dlc and I wish it was in horizon 3. Narrow dirt roads with stages and all that.
The offroad racing in 3 is largely just driving around in huge bumpy fields hoping you don't miss a narrow checkpoint.
Dirt 4 is out in a few days I guess.

I'm gonna need to replace my Windows C:/ drive, is there any way to save my Forza Horizon 3 save? Cloud, whatever, I just don't want to start from scratch.

It is automatically synced to the cloud, you'll get it back the next time you boot it up after reinstalling, as long as you played it while connected to the internet that is.
I'm so god damn nervous putting in an HDD tomorrow. Mostly because I either have to mount on the shelf or on the chassis.
Edit: Should I put the HDD in the shelf or the chassis?
But the cable management might be a problem. (also nervous taking the front panel off of my case NZXT S340). I'm doing this for FH3 lol

Quick heads-up: the 20 ultimate air skills in a super saloon is glitched. Did loads with the HE BMW M4 and it didn't register, switched over to the Jag XF RS and it worked.
E: Did they update Anna? I've got 100% completion in the main map and Anna keeps telling me I've done everything, so she's not setting random waypoints anymore.
