It was the only bit that was interesting to me.

Sure, that whole TV thing is cool... if you live in America. I don't so care factor = very low.

..so are pre-rendered movie files using the game's rendering engine, by that logic

I think it's fair to say "in-game" refers to visuals being dynamically produced in real-time by the system. We've been informed that the visuals for the trailers fit this criteria.

Looks great.

Gives PGR vibe more then Forza, but seeing cities again is hugest and most beautiful thing.

Prague is great choice, can't wait to explore it.

Also, it is almost inevitable (if this trailer is showcase of things to come) how we will get ability to create city-tracks within cities - as we could in PGR3. The ride from any of Zahrady (parks) to Karlovy Most (charles bridge) is long and it seems how great amounts of city have been mapped. Only goood things can come out of it.

Also praying (literally) for re-usage of those PGR assets for all cities. I swear to Turn10 how I will not buy one single car-DLC but how I will buy every single one city-DLC for this beauty.

I do not even care is it 100% simulation any more or the tides have shifted towards more casual experience. I just want to take those babies for a spin with 60fps through stunning cities and enjoy the ride.

Waiting for E3.

Still extremely disappointed that there's no PGR announced. A console launch needs a PGR game, and I've grown more and more disillusioned with the Forza games, and its approach of just throwing a huge amount of cars at us, without giving any motorsport-related structure to the game.

Can't wait to hear what message they were trying to get across in that trailer. If there ARE a bunch of new features in FM5 then they must be waiting until E3 to tell us about them. Hopefully FM5 won't be like the first FIFA on new hardware, ie a 'lite' version with stipped-down features as the devs get to grips with the new hardware.

I'd like a trailer like the April FM4 leak for E3, laden with detailed information about all the new stuff.

Amazing that this will be a launch title and that we'll all be playing it within six months.

This looks better to me than Drive Club so far. Gorgeous graphics if realtime. I don't really trust Turn 10 anymore since some of their antics with FM4 (that first montage trailer was just mean, I got hyped for weather and day-to-night simulation), so I'm cautious about this one.

Well, judging by the trailer, you can see Turn 10's intent here. They could've went for the same old race car on race track routine. Yes, it is a racing game, and they know that we know it's a racing game. But they chose to give us a glimpse into what potentially could be the depth we are looking for from their games.

Anyway, Prague is an amazing city. What a wonderful choice by Turn 10.

was not impressed with this during the reveal, but these pics are stunning! If the game looks like that, then i'm very impressed

Somebody ask that Turn 10 dev if it supports the G27 wheel.

Come on Vanilla, you know that answer. No HID, XID all the way. Leave that dream behind. Microsoft is never going to give up the sweet money they get form licensing Xinput devices. Forget it and move on. Fanatec CSR Elite is your only choice (at least I hope how this-gen XB wheels will work on XB1).

Headlights.

Does not mean much really. European road regulations become very strict for using headlights during day driving and many car manufacturers used such growing regulative to design headlights - especially daylights - as their design-element.

Of course, I expect night. We all do.

Still extremely disappointed that there's no PGR announced.

If no E3 announcement it will mean how assets will die forever in some dusty drawer.

I wouldn't take much from the trailer. Remember that FM3 stunt trailer?

Yeah, that is the only reason I still have hopes.

Same here, can't wait for E3 and first gameplay videos (the cockpit segment we saw on big screen looked phenomenal).

I hope it's not the only new track ala the Bernese Alps in FM 4. Hugely disappointing that was. Looks good though.

Yeah but is XID still compatible or will you need a new wheel? Doesn't matter, sold my old wheel so unfortunately this can't be a system seller for me.

What do people make of the new branding? Isn't that the 5th logo in as many games? I think I prefer the FM3 version before they chromed it up and added drop shadows in FM4.

Not too sure about this new one. It'll probably grow on me.

I'd be in the dick
Gorgeous looking game. Even if the XBO has lower tech specs, it's still going to be producing some great looking titles.

I presume XID will remain compatible, X360 has been using Xinput 1.2 (don't quote me on this), while all new devices are suing Xinput 1.4. But common logic says it just have to be supported. If not, many many people would be pissed. But I am almost certain it will.

Also, what happened, why did you sold the wheel? I need you mate, we have a damn fight to fight, you were my only true comrade in the Linearity Wars™... I am doomed now, don't do this :/

I think it's ugly as fuck. I feel like they should've iterated on FM3's and just had different roman numerals comprising the middle of the F.

It's SUPER ugly ATM. Even the 5 is basic. Methinks it may be a placeholder.

I should be excited but its not PGR5 :(
This has dampened ALL of my excitement for Forza 5. Even while watching the (great) trailer my face was :/

Man, I hope they don't lie about those graphics. I like that they go an even more stylized way - the atmosphere is spot on.

Starting with the April 1st leak, and heading into E3, the buildup to FM4 was, for me, one of the best ever. I remember trawling the interwebs daily, desperate for even the slightest tidbit. The fact that we'll be doing it all over again in a matter of weeks, and for a game launching on new hardware, no less, makes me slightly giddy.

Good time ahead, fellas.

Have you never watched a race on TV?

Indeed.

Hindhaugh's frenzied commentary when the action heats up is what makes him so great to listen to.
