Not in the rain it hasn't and i'm running this 4k supersampled
So passed in everything else?

I'm sure they (T10) used to make a bit of noise about their physics and tyre model, think this is the first one where I not heard anything from them in these regards.
Set it to native screen resolution (fullscreen). In game it will be 21:9, but menu have black bars.
For those with performance problems, disable Core 0 in cpu affinity.
I'm running the game @ 2560*1080 @ 75hz, all maxed out, resolution to 100%, everything maxed (4xMsaa) out and it's great.
i7 6700k, GTX 1080
It actually allows you to select 21:9 resolutions?
Because for me it only shows 16:9 aspect ratios.

Yes. I do it all the time in argentina. Just change your region on pc and the store will change the currency. Then just use paypal. Thats how ive been doing it.Is it still possible to preorder the game from a windows store that is outside of your own region?
There are crazy differences in price depending on the region for the ultimate edition.
DS4 works fine, there are no PS4 button prompts, but it's pretty standard mapping and works just like a default XBOX controller would.....There are many config options in general and a custom one at that....if you want to tinker.DS4 doesn't work for me on PC (despite it being on the list). That's me out then I guess, not buying another controller just for one game.
You don't need DS4 windows, I played all the races with a DS4 plugged in Via USB and I've uninstalled DS4Windows from the time Steam launched support for the controller.Do you have DS4Windows? It emulated an Xbox controller and should make a DS4 work with anything. Get it here http://ds4windows.com/
Can't believe how well this runs on PC.
All setting maxed, 1440p, 8x MSAA
I really don't see what's so surprising here, if a game runs at 1080p 60fps on an XB1, it's going to run pretty well on entry level PC hardware at better settings too. This is really not a demanding game. RX 480 and 1060 should run this at 4k 60fps with a setting or two turned down, but, 980ti, 1070,1080, 1080Ti, Titan Xp, Rx Vega 64 and 56 should all run this at 4k 60fps with lots of room to spare...Man I'm surprised even at 8x MSAA the game runs a flawless 60fps at 1440p on a 980ti
I've always said this would be an easy target...RX 480 also runs Apex at 4k 60fps and in my memory it always run the Forza games a bit better than NV. In any case, we're looking at a bit better settings than XBONEX here......In the demo you have the option to scale down reflection and mirror framerate and that seems to be at low on XBONEX from what I've seen....AA seems to be worse etc...Santiago Santiago was able to get 4K60 at Ultra and 2xMSAA with a GTX 1060 6GB and a G4560 CPU.

Right. Did you forget gears of war 4? I mean come on, know what to say before posting.Shame it runs bad on PC. Ill just grab on my xbox-one X. MS seems to have issues with PC ports.
Is FM7 being promoted as a simulation or an arcade game, or neither of these (just a car game, maybe. Or simcade)?
I don't know quite what to make of it.

I'd also like to point out that the loading times in the game are pretty garbage.
It's promoted like every other Forza Motorsport game.
This is my first time with Forza and I must say I found the demo really underwhelming.
I don't get the physics here. They feel su muted, so lifeless. They don't feel organic at all, IMO. I find rain physics specially jarring. They make zero sense to me.
Graphics are good, like sound is, but I find they are too hollywood-like. They are there not to look or sound realistic, but to look and sound cool and I'm not finding them all that cool, to be honest. Nürburgring, for instance, it's all set up. I left the car standing still at the end of the race, and no change. No night, no less clouds, no nothing. It looks cool, yes, but I find it utterly unconvincing, like I'm playing a setting. Not necesarily what I look for when I'm doing a race. At least performance is great.
I guess this is good for people wanting fast controlled thrills, not for me.
yea, ever since they got that Calspan machine to get real world tire data on their own. I wonder how much combined slip that machine can do, because over the limit Forza Sim Steering is just wrong ever since.I've always liked FM because it's fun, and had some semblance of reality, I remember being blown away by the way the tyre grip felt in 2, but (IMO) it's been moving away from that semblance of reality since 4, and that it had ton of cars to collect and drive.
That doesn't help..!
In the past Dan has made a big fuss about their simulation model, and talked about class-beating physics, tyre modle etc. But there's none of that this time around. I was just wondering if Turn 10 had abandoned any claims of being a racing simulator.

Yeah, tried it and I still find the physics hard to understand.Did you try playing without all of the driving assist features on? If you just started up the game and played, it's like night and day.
Are the loading times bad too on PC? On the S, it's pretty dreadful. It also takes too much time to get back to racing after finishing one.
I miss FH3 music, I was hoping that this would be the FM with cool music.
Very weird that one of the THREE cars has broken physics. Couldn't they just put another car in.

I don't even know what to say about that Porsche race. I play most racing sims with only a few assists and even with most of the assists on I can't even keep the car on the road.
Actually no, they couldn't. Porsche is basically sponsoring FM7. This GT2 RS is the "hero" car of the game. They could've replaced either the truck or the GT-R, not the GT2.
I actually think Forza 4 was the high point for the series, I can't talk much for the early Forza games on OG XBOX since they were 30fps and they had their own issues as it relates to physics and handling...Yet, even Forza 4, though it handled well, felt closer to arcade than sim....but I didn't mind since I love arcade racers and/or "simcade" racers just the same...Is FM7 being promoted as a simulation or an arcade game, or neither of these (just a car game, maybe. The demo does feel cobbled together as I said earlier. Like, every menu transition could break the thing. In reality I guess it IS cobbled together, but it's leaving a bad impression for sure.

Other than supersampling, I turned all the graphics settings up to the max and it looks worse than Horizon 3? Is it just me or does anyone else feel this way?
All in all, I think Forza have implemented too many casual friendly features in the series and that has robbed it of it's initial sim outlook....Rewind, an obstrusive racing line, those assists which basically drive the car is a bit too much....I think they're trying to make the series more casual friendly, but then they already have Horizon, so why?
Curse turn10 allowing children and those with physical disabilities to enjoy the game. Don't they realise that real racing drivers like thelastword here rely on Forza for their training for the next GP.
