I've seen so many drawings like this that I lost track. Everybody loves incineroar.

Omg, that's gorgeous. The two yellow/black portraits are giving me Persona 4 vibes. I like the noir style in some of them.

And quoted images don't expand on mobile, they just open in a new tab.

oh I've seen plenty of chesnaught, but they're mostly japanese

Hmm, guess I'll have to check Pixiv...

It also shrinks them down to the size of the window without quotes.

Might be too big tho.
I initially wanted to just post art outside of quote boxes for this reason, but they are all different resolutions and the differing lengths of the pictures going to the right just looked unsightly; the quote boxes have the added benefit of making it look more organized.

I think keeping them in quote boxes should be fine. People can just click on the ones they like to enlarge it.

Also, quotes keeps the "replay to topic" page from getting crazy huge.

The New Kid Vs Old Timer: WHO WILL WIN? (FurryGaf Wrestlers Edition)

I had a big crush on King/Armor King as a kid. I couldn't explain why though. xD

Ah, gotcha. Is Miktar still around even? He used to post a lot when I was waiting for account approval. I really liked his art. Now I can't find it. :

I still exist, but I'm not really present. I don't have any online art galleries or tumblrs anymore either - needed a break from all that. Been contemplating starting one up again, but not sure if I want to use tumblr again.

Oh, hey there. I thought Bread's Mik character was you for some reason. *shrug*

Anecdotally, I've heard of a couple people wanting to take a break from tumblr. Even from a lurker's perspective it seems really hectic and not worth the hassle. Well if you ever start up again, make sure to post it here. There's always room for more artwork around these parts.

I actually don't have any real beef with tumblr itself (other than those pesky pornbots that run rampant over the site, much like Twitter). The experience is as big or as small as you make it, based on who/what tumblrs you follow. It's a very curated existence, if you're conservative about how many tumblrs you decide to include in your feed. My taking a break from tumblr was more of a kind of an internet social sabbatical, to reorient how I feel about things. I stopped going to pretty much all websites, to cut down on the noise and distractions. It dovetailed with me falling out of my art as well, which is normal for me. I tend to have on-off years - hopefully this "off" doesn't last as long as they can. I've not drawn anything in months, sadly.

Yeah, tumblr is kinda nice in that sense. It's pretty darn customizable. I'm not an artist though, so I'm not sure what it's like from the other side of the curtain. But try to enjoy the break, I find that doing other stuff (fishing, etc) for a while lets you jump back in with more energy/enthusiam. That seems to work for me when Magic or Gundam get boring.

Art Showcase Featuring Lins & Grimm

Their art is stylistically and thematically similar to the previous artist duo I posted about; I wonder if they all know each other. These ones, though, are working on some kind of visual novel as well as a comic, which are pretty much exactly like the comics all really talented artists make: there's some kind of magical fantasy world with an unclear level of technology that generic character archetypes have to travel though for some vague reason. Not that original but it looks good at least. They've got a Patreon. Obviously.

Those legs in the pic with the bike though... wow. I think I like this character better than strippy yeen.

Well then, it appears pushing and pulling that accordion of his has led to substantial muscle mass and chest growth.

The doctor recommends more accordion practice. :)

I actually thought the exposed sides of the pants were furries being kinky but apparently a closer look at his pants reveal that he has those unsewn sides

Check out this cool animation! Werewolves are basically the original furries.

Fun fact: I have a phobia of were-thing transformations. No idea why, but I think seeing the Prisoner of Azkaban in the cinema age seven probably has something to do with it. The werewolf transformation scene in that terrified me, and I couldn't even keep my eyes open during the were-transformation scene in that Wallace and Gromit film.

I put a spoiler thing on it.

Hmm, the crescent moon thing by the sheet music in the screenshot?

Funnily enough, this scene fascinated me as kid (I was 8). I probably wouldn't have been able to put it into words, but I liked the idea of being transformed against your will into a creature that can cause serious havoc. Unfortunately Harry Potter didn't flesh out the werewolf characters since there's only like 5 of them in the whole series.

Yeah, I think I felt something similar to that underneath the fear, and I have to admit that I spent an awful lot of time as a child imagining that I was different anthro characters from films or just thinking about what I would do in those universes in general.

I love Lingrimm because their characters got some bite to them, literally. All those huge teeth. I'm a fan of that sort of design choice. Makes them look a bit more ferocious and less cute and innocent. It stands out in the sheer quantity of cuteness. (Nothing against cute things but there's definitely a lack of Lingrimm's sort of style in the furry art community, Sturmschwinge being the only other artist that comes to mind that comes close to that)
