Halloween - and Autumn as a whole - has become my favorite time of year during the past 5 years or so and I'm happy to be part of Gaf's celebration of it.
Little bit of a side topic that might be relevant for others here, but speaking of the Super Best Friends' excellent Shitstorm of Scariness and how it for me has come to partly define my Halloween experience as a non-American who mostly celebrates by passively partaking in the festivities through others, I was wondering if people here could help me list some good additions to it, be it for games or other media.
So far I also have Cinemassacre's Monster Madness in my rotation (which unfortunately, but understandably, has been reduced from daily to weekly horror movie reviews), as well as Linkara's comic covering Longbox of the Damned. The rest I fill up with videos by Scary Game Squad (Jesse Cox, The Completionist and friends), AestheticGamer (aka Gaf's own horror game expert Dusk Golem), Helloween4545, Stop Skeletons From Fighting, RedLetterMedia, Nostalgiaween by the Nostalgia Critic, TheBitBlock (now rebranded as Nintendo Beyond; and yes, Josh's views and personality are not everyone's cup of tea but his spare-no-expense style celebration of Halloween is somewhat of a redeeming quality at least) and others depending on my interests and their more fluctuating Halloween themed output.
So my question then, summed up again: Are there youtube channels that really delve into Halloween by covering horror games, movies, comics, books, or all of the above, that I should add to my rotation, specifically channels like SBF, Cinemassacre or Linkara that take the effort to set the mood by doing special intro's or Halloween themed sets etc.? Thanks in advance!
