Valve doesn't seem like the type of company to make anyone pay to reveal one of their games.

Though who knows if they would actually have the first reveal of Half Life 3 in a magazine. Since it's probably a Source 2 game along with Left 4 Dead 3 they would probably have it as part of the Source 2 reveal.

So Evolve is likely to follow the L4D format, only with Aliens instead of Zombies. The Aliens are likely to evolve into different forms in response to how you play the game. Should be cool.

Thats nothing new, we know since E³ that the next FPS Halo will launch 2014 on Xbox One ^^
Would be pretty earlier for more details about that, halo 4s first details came out about march after first e³ appearance.
