AMD DX12 drivers worse than nvidias?
Why has ashses bigger gains in DX12 on AMD cards than on nvidias? Just like hitman btw.
What is even supposed to be the problem with hitman? The crashes PCGH were reporting yesterday? Thats because they didn't have the new drivers yet.
Why ARK doesn't have DX12 yet? Because of nvidia! Here is what a dev said on their forums:

Gears of War is an odd example to lead the way for DX12, to me. It’s a 2006 source code DX9 UE3 game retooled for DX12, also featuring proprietary Nvidia lighting. It’s also not displaying the Multi-threaded CPU rendering that many hoped. It may be a sign of some DX12 games to come, but perhaps the less thorough, not built from the ground up titles.
Hitman doesn’t use proprietary technology, but it’s a GE game and they have stated in a press release the DX12 is targeted to use A-Sync Compute. This is one of AMD’s strengths in DX12. This may be why, so far, Hawaii GCN 1.1 with more ACE's is the only architecture to show positive scaling from DX11->12 at both 1080p and 1440p (so far, from one site, with incomplete testing, FWIW). We may see GE games and some neutral games target ACEs while Nvidia Gameworks may push their DX12 strengths such as conservative rasterization. It may or may not be typical of the market at large, and full proper benchmarks and patches have yet to come so it is a bit early to make a full judgement other than that Hawaii does well. We'll learn a lot more in a matter of a couple days.
AOTS appears to be the best example of a game that has really been DX12 focused, if only because of the oustanding Multi-threaded rendering that is the stuff of awe and puts Gears of War to shame. But it is still not final release, and is from a very small studio. And again it draws heavily on Asynchronous Compute, which not all DX12 have to necessarily do. Hopefully its Multi-threaded rendering becomes the norm for DX12, at the very least.
I want to see what other devs and publishers do, DICE specifically.
