PSM3 has a preview of the PS3 version.

Edit:
Some facts:

*You helmet will come off during a major collision
*Hold X to block ,O to kick, square for a punch ,an triangle to do things such as a head butt
*No body building, but different Outfits
*Cherry Popping R3 missions are back
* There are 18 radio stations
I hope you can at least change haircuts/facial hair

Wait... am I imagining things or do the screenshots have some kind of crayon-esque filter? It's looks like it's a little fuzzy and grainy... I like it, it suits the game's style. Hope it's intentional :)

Thats what it says :)

Edit more

-The PS3's version seems to be exactly the same visually as it's 360 counterpart
- The frame rate on the ps3 version is extremely smooth
- Niko's clothes get bloodier after you take more and more damage
- You can ring 911 to get the police, ambulance or fire brigade
to create a diversion or simply steal their car and anything else you can foster up
- When you fail a mission, you receive a text message asking whether you want to replay the mission, even a 'skip trip' feature is included
- Multiplayer will be accessed from the phone
- The phone can also be used for messageing, photos, reminders and music.
- R1 will be the 'into cover' button for the ps3, many variations of getting into cover apply
- You can dangle from Helicopters, just like vans and trucks
- When your about to die it fades into black and white, just like in gears of war and uncharted.
- Ne-Yo and R Kelly were heard on the radio
- 18 radio stations available
- Niko is able to ask the cab driver to change the radio station
- Niko pays the cabbie double (which adds up to $39) to speed up
- Bums on the street ask for money, you have the ability to give them money
- Niko raises his arms when cops try to 'bust him' out of say a car, but he can move freely and can run or retaliate

Do you guys think the soundtrack can be as good as GTA3's? That one was just amazing considering how they didn't use any big name songs, and even had original score.

Vice City's music was great too, and it really put you in the 80s. Then San Andreas came and I thought had the worst soundtrack of the three, even though there was a lot of variety. It's like it couldn't add to the game what the previous two soundtracks did.

Nice.

Edit: Is anyone else buying both the X360 and PS3 versions of this game? Yeah I'm crazy like that, one SE for either the X360 or PS3 and one regular edition. R* can have my monies, all of it.

They all do their job as far as fitting into the era they're placed in. So it's really only a matter of how much you like the music during that time. VC's music is generally seen as the best because people like 80's music alot. So there's really no reason to think GTA4's music won't be better than GTA3's. No one picks licensed music like Rockstar, with the possible exception of Sony Liverpool when it comes to WO games.

I really hated VC's soundtrack (don't like 80's music). I still feel that GTA3's soundtrack was the best of the 3, it had lots of great tracks, many of which got very little to no radio play so they felt "fresh" and as a result I came to associate those songs very closely to the game itself. I'd rather they use underground stuff for GTAIV rather than stuff we've heard a million times on the radio.

Yeah if you don't like 80's music it's no surprise that you wouldn't like VC. I wasn't the biggest fan of early 90's music so SA was my least favorite GTA soundtrack. With 18 radio stations there's bound to be a ton of variety and something for everyone.

Someone on the GTA forums has mentioned that Queen's One Vision is also in.

Yeah I'm buying 2 versions of the game as well. One SE for my PS3 and I'll pick up a regular version of the game for the 360 so I can check out the DLC.

That's Euphoria alright. There's a freeware game that did similar AI/physics shenanigans called...I can't remember. Sumo something I think. It's not as advanced as Euphoria tough, obviously, the characters consisted of large blocks. But they stumbled around just like in this gif animation, only a bit more rigidly. Still hilarious to watch though.

Yeah, here it is. Best part is watching them try to get up and bow.

I'm a douchebag btw.

Wow. Does this mean you won't get an instant busted if you simply have a door open and a cop catches up?

Yeah it sounds like you've got a small window of time to do something before you get busted.

They should make it so that you can slam open the car's door to knock the cop out before he opens it.

The PSM3 article says there is a Russian radio station.

Which would only make sense . . . there is lots of music that may be considered Russian in some of the videos, namely Roman's video, on the new GTA4 website. That music is probably a Russian song heard on that radio station.

Better than GTA 3, but not as good as Vice City. You can't beat Vice City's 80s mix.

I just REALLY hope they stick to a somewhat down-to-earth story.

I remembering hearing how it would be all "Enemy Of The State"-like, which is likely too considering some of the bits of info released so far. I'm fine with that, but please, don't pretend the game will be about something serious only to drop me in hicksville when things get interesting, only to help an hallucinating hippy catch UFOs while stealing aircrafts to attack enemy boats so I can steal a jetpack from a military base to help a blind nice Asian mobster get his casino on track.

I loved everything about that, but it seems some didn't like it.

From the start though haven't they said they GTA4 is going to take the serious route compared to SA?

yeah, I hope the serious atmosphere of the game carries over to the missions too.

none of that "guiding a remote controlled chopper in a building" crap.

I mean, I'm ok with humor but I just don't want wacky ass missions like that one I mentioned.

I've been trying real hard not to think about this game. This giant thread of excited GTA fans is making it real tough. I cannot wait.

Is there any reports of how thePS3 version runs? Does it have a shifty framerate like certain other third patry games or is it just as good as the X360 version?

Notice the other guy's arms too, how they're freely relaxed and response very accurately to the shove. Now I'm actually really excited where Euphoria will take us.

FUCK, THREE MONTHS. ;_;

In-game xmb communication is WAY more important to PSN than this whole custom soundtrack bullshit. People complain about no in-game xmb communication and then the same people start voting for something like this, it's like they want to fuck up PSN development on purpose.

I don't understand the appeal of custom music in GTA at all. GTA wouldn't be half as good without listening to the radio

Of ALL the games to ask for custom soundtrack this should be the LAST one. Instead of listening to the soundtrack R* probably paid a hefty licensing fee just to put together, for some reason someone would like to listen to the same shit boomboomboom dumbass dance track.
