Disney interactive was banking big on Epic Mickey, Tron and Split Second; but they all tanked or did not meet expectations. Rumours have it they scaled back or cancelled a lot of projects. Which is sad, because they had a pretty intresting lineup that just needed an extra push.
Coag is better than Gulch for base design alone. OS/Inv placement is also great. Needed more BTB maps like that.

I play a little of this from time to time (Reach) and while the base game is adaptive enough to provide the gameplay experience the developers intended and clearly a bunch more going by the playlists, it bothers me how there's so little incentive to go up in rank. I get to buy more shoddily labelled items that, apart from helmets, actually aren't visible to anyone who's not practically inside of you. This still is loads better than games that give you any sort of advantage for levelling, I hate uneven fields, but it's so boring, especially as the levels are unevenly paced for some unexplicable reason. Warrant Officer, fuck off.
I hate that one guy who shows up for matchmade anything and has just coloured and tuned his armour to look just like Master Chief's. Be a little innovative, I get it, you like Halo.

It sounds like Seropian just wanted to do smaller projects with less people. I dunno if there was another reason, but his actions afterwards seemed to point to that. I'm not surprised he left Disney--VP of game dev or not, it's certainly not small projects. I doubt he'll go back to Bungie on those terms--it's grown at least five times as large since he left.
