Its not really the console version its a swipe/tap based fighter. Its actually really fun and I've put a pretty big chunk of time into it. It has cross unlocks with the console version.

Finished the design for the Combiner!
It replaces the Needler and the Shotgun.
7 shots to kill. It's semi-automatic rather than automatic, though. You can fire it nearly as fast as you can pull the trigger, just like the Plasma Pistol. Homing function remains. Six huge needles form a big "crest" on the front of the gun that go partway into the front of the rifle when you shoot. Charging a shot will spend the entire clip and all the needles in the front of the gun, but it shoots out the entire clip's thing of needles at once, resulting in a shotgun-like blast with roughly a third of the potential range of a single shot. Obviously has a high rate of damage. It only takes 7 needles to kill charged, though, so if you sweep-shoot you can potentially blow up more than one person per shot (18 needles per clip).
That angled thing right behind the needles is an entire Needler clip, for scale. When you reload a little conveyor-belt style thing pushes the cluster into the front of the gun, at which point the needler compound works like play-doh, squeezing out of the six holes of the crest and then cooling/hardening into their usual shape.
Rather than run on blamite like the Needler and Needle Rifle, it runs on "blamethyst," a way colder compound that accordingly affects the sounds (which sound more crisp and icy now) and the steam/particles visible.

Some good news: Daybreak's mancannon is a forge object and can be removed. Some bad news: Daybreak doesn't have a Structure category so you can't actually fix the problem.
I take that first bit back. The most baffling thing is that two of the three maps in this pack are asymmetric but the game doesn't have any asymmetric gametypes.
The most baffling thing is that all of their prerelease messaging about this map emphasized that the bases were functionally symmetric, but that's very clearly not the case. I mean, it was obvious even from the flythrough that red's base was easier to run the flag from (which makes the whole "this is my favorite CTF map in the entire series" thing pretty hilarious). It has a ton of potential because I like a lot about the map, but it doesn't work with symmetric gametypes.

Make sure you create a WBID and when you get the pop up to rate the game do it right there and then because if not you have to redownload the game and lose all your progress to unlock the Bane skin.

Bungie always called it blamite. We never got a real explanation behind it other than you can mine the stuff you need for it out of a moon of the Elite homeworld, but I like to think 343's going to give the "blam" prefix some complicated acronym like "biological lacerating assault mitigator" or some shit.

Protip: golden oldies like the Needler / Shotgun would still show up in campaign and be available for use in Custom Games. However, the main playlists would have a mandatory weapon sandbox that needs to be adhered to, which consists of the 20 weapons and 4 grenades.
All sorts of crazy shit shows up in other places, though. Like an ONI Hard Sound Rifle.
So with individual CSR in a team based gametype - do they give you a negative hit on your CSR if you don't finish in the top 1/2 of all players in the game (even if you go positive, have assits, etc.)?
EDIT - So it seems that individual CSR has literally nothing to do with K/D or even K+A/D. It's all based on "score" in a game. So can go 15k 25d and as long as you're in the top 4 players in the game (according to score) you can still rank up. I have zero understanding of how that makes any sort of sense whatsoever.
