It's a good start, but they really need to find a balanced way to end this once and for all - imo, they should still let the developers to release games, but certainly not with multiple variations and region stacks - as I mentioned in previous threads, currently a single pig quiz game can have up to 8 stacking trophy lists, those developers want people to buy the shit game 8 times just for the pointless platinum trophies, which is absolutely shameless and nuts.
I as a trophy collector myself, think the era before 2017 was pretty nice - there are still easy plats, but most of them were fully fledged point-and-click games, they were not bad, just with easier trophy lists, you could have good time with those games. After ratalaika games emerged in early 2018 it was all slippery downfall, and now those jumping clicking games are plague, just plague.

And earlier this week we noticed the firm has already made an adjustment. Both on the browser-based PS Store and PS5 app, the New Games ribbon is now sorted by Best Selling as opposed to Release Date. This means, at the time of typing at least, you’ll see games like Cult of the Lamb and Arcade Paradise rather than The Jumping Noodles Turbo and The Pig Quiz.
First one is how the New Games section used to be, and second one is how the PS Store is currently filtered
