Or a fjord.
No they're not. Spanish Simpsons is one of the best dubs I've ever heard.
Not even joking, I can't watch this scene anymore without thinking that it's playing too fast. Damn this video. You're all wrong. Slow audio Simpsons is the true answer.

Exactly. Several jokes are actually delivered better in Spanish. For a comedy show, a dub being funnier than the original, even just once, is unheard of.
Homer: Marge, you're standing in the way of my boyhood dream of managing a beautiful country singer.
Marge: Your boyhood dream was to eat the world's biggest hoagie and you did it at the county fair last year, remember? (holds up a photo of homer eating a giant hoagie)
I love how exaggerated Homer's expression are in all of his "candid" photos. So charming.
That's it! You people have held me back for long enough! I'm going to clown college.
...I don't think anyone expected him to say that
Bart: Hey, boy, you want to play fetch?
[Santa's Little Helper looks up, tired, then puts his head back down]
Bart: Aw. Me and Santa's Little Helper used to be a team, but he never wants to play anymore since his bitch moved in.
Marge Simpson: Bart, don't ever say that word again!
Bart: Well, that's what she is. I looked it up.
Marge Simpson: Well, I'm going to write the dictionary people and have that checked. Feels like a mistake to me...
I would still kill for a clean version of the clown theme used in The Simpsons, but as it's written by Clausen himself and isn't a public domain thing, there's zero chance unless it's released on CD somewhere.
Nah, that's the Krusty theme. I'm thinking of this one.I'm not sure exactly which one you mean, but would it happen to be track 29 of this CD?

Instead of quotes I'm going to show one image from the episode I just watched. Anyone who watches the show will instantly remember the episode
I don't like Lisa episodes but this was close to a perfect episode

I agree with My Sister, My Sitter. I just can't stand that episode for some reason.Probably my least favorite episode of the classic Simpsons era, together with My Sister My Sitter. I rarely watch either of those episodes.

It makes sense that a lot of people won't like My Sister, My Sitter. It ventures into an unexplored territory of black comedy that few other episodes of the show barely touch on. Bart knocking himself unconscious, dislocating his arm, Lisa being accused of murder and being on drugs by the townsfolk and they played it straight.I agree with My Sister, My Sitter. For me the writing seemed just lazy and was the main reason why I don't care for the episode. I didn't mind the darker humor in it and to be honest I never even thought about the darker tone of the story before. It just hasn't much going on and the sub-plot just felt like waste of screen timeIt makes sense that a lot of people won't like My Sister, My Sitter. I actually enjoy that episode a lot but it's certainly not for everybody.
HOMER SIMPSON
Hey, Flanders, you're the worst coach this team has ever had!
MARGE SIMPSON
He's the only coach this team has ever had. And the season hasn't even started yet.
HOMER SIMPSON
Yeah, well, he's... wearing that hat like an idiot.
MARGE SIMPSON
You know, Homer, it's very easy to criticize.
HOMER SIMPSON
Fun too.
That's probably my least favorite episode in the history of the Simpsons.

FLAAAAAAANDERS.
FLAAAAAAAAAAAAANDERS.
FLLLAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNDDDDDDEEEEERRRRRRSSSSS.
WHAT?!?
Game's out there!
Really? I thought it was an unusually dark episode, but a very well directed and paced one. It really explored the lows of Bart's character (and his eventual regret) and Lisa's reaction to them. Not the most quotable lines, but some nice gags in there still. The problem for me is simply the horrendous situation Lisa gets into. It's a classic Donald Duck cartoon. Everything goes wrong, to the point where I'm really annoyed and frustrated over how helpless Lisa is and keep saying "oh come on!" out loud.. I can't stand those kinds of scenarios. And this is the one Simpsons episode with such a scenario.
