I mean, people will keep asking for that and then one day we'll get The Order.

Don't forget Knack

It's not unless you're impatient or if you're going for the platinum, because some of the optional conversations etc. tied to trophies can be easily missed.

Ugh, missable trophies are the worst. I'll give it a go though, hopefully I can get it on Vita, this kind of game would suit the Vita well.

Hmm Grim Fandango is really nice to get.

But I've heard horror stories about the games difficulty with puzzles.
Hopefully I can play this on my Vita.

I'm too bad for this game. As a kid I only got so far to drive to the land of living, after that I had no clue what to do.

Now I bought it on Steam for 3€ and guess what... I got exactly so far as my kid self... lol. Its a shame. I want to enjoy this game, I truly believe its a masterpiece.

Grim Fandango is great! I already have it, and the platinum - but glad that others will get the chance to play it!

As long as you go through the dialogue in the game, you'll pick most of them up. It's well written, so it's enjoyable to see play out. I found that making a save at the start of each 'act/chapter' helped a lot in picking up the last few missing trophies that I needed to get and then looking at a guide to see where they were/who I needed to talk to.

I heard that Grim Fandango is basically "strategy guide: the game" and can't be beaten without one, so I am not interested
I heard the same thing when I bought it. Stuff like "is too hard for modern gamers bla bla" is not true.

I'm a hardcore casual gamer. I play alot of games, yet I suck at everything more or less.
Grim fandango was challenging for me, but I beat it without using any guides.

If a casual "cod gamer" like me can beat grim fandango, so can you :p
You should atleast try it, is an amazing game.

& Hardware Rivals

Why is Sony sending there games out to die? A launch date, press coverage is missing.

Bruh some of those puzzles are obtuse as fuck.

I would take The Order, Killzone, and even Knack over the games we've been getting. Though ideally there are many other AAA games I'd prefer.

But all those games have been on sale for pretty low prices, and have been out for a while. If you really wanted to play them that badly surely you would have bought them by now. I mean 2 of those games are release titles, and all 3 of them have a reputation of being pretty poor. I get wanting AAA games but it's weird that people always specifically mention Killzone and Knack.

Grim Fandango is nice I guess, never played it but it's not my favourite genre.
Played the hardware beta, thought it was shite, poor controls and handling, might give it another spin though.

Not a good start for 2016, blergh.

Man, I got Grim Fandango back in some sale and never had the chance of playing it. Now it will be free with plus. I hate it when this happens @_@

HOA is back and free with a PS+ update is amazing!

Was planning to buy, but no need now.

Already have Grim Fandango, but HOA is enough for me!

EDIT -
only two games?

this is a new low

No, the emails only highlight the PS4 offerings in the past, the full update will likely be shown with a Blog post today...

Good titles this month. Not to my taste, so I will not be downloading them, but nothing to complain about.

Yeah. Even then, no puzzle in that game was impossible to solve without guide.
Imo hardest puzzle in that game was
casino betting puzzle, where you need to put the right numbers in that board, now that was tough to solve

Get one of the greatest adventures EVER
Proceed to shit on it

I swear, half of those complaining must be the same ones who stood up and clapped when Sony announced they were litteraly taking this out of the grave with a remaster. Can't wait for the reaction when they're gonna offer Day of the Tentacle too next year, or Psychonauts down the line.

/smh

Pretty terrible month IMO. This is not at all the direction I was hoping the service would go in 2016. AAA game, please! Infamous First Light last January was so much better!
Grim Famdango is technically a AAA, well it was when it first released..
Bought this day 1 (twice now..) and it is worth every penny and glad everyone is now gettint it, fantastic game.

I've already played Grim Fandango, but given how huge my current backlog is I really don't mind it being in this months offerings.

I've posted in previous threads that Hardware: Rivals would do work well as a PS+ game, should give the community a nice big starting pool of potential players, not unlike Rocket League. From what little I played of the beta it seemed solid enough.

Not really playing much on my Vita at the moment, so hopefully there's a couple of gems announced for it.

Already have GF, but I got it cheap in the sales and I'm happy to fully own it. Hope the PS3/Vita titles revealed later are more my cup of tea.

I really do think they need a AAA game every few months though, just for a bit of variety in scope and scale. I mean surely Assassins Creed: Black Flag or something can't be too hard to wrangle up by this point.
