A popular Japanese girl band set up by an executive board member of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics organising committee
The japanese are completely tonedeaf when it comes to this. It's strange.

Lol. Every country did this lol.(I don't even want to remember how bad Indonesia act like they are saints during the 1998 and Timor incident.T_T)

The hat alone is a pretty big deal...
The symbol on the hat alone is very Nazi ish. It's very similar to the Reichsadler as someone else pointed out.
Should have hired Boss.costumes are awful too
He was a villain though, associated with the likes of Ant Capone and Genghis Khan Condor.
But that hat is worn by many pilot too like we had seen from the first page picture.
Maybe the color? I mean, swastika now is called as Nazi symbol and become so taboo and yet, when i went to Buddhist temple, i still see all the same swastika and i never heard people calling them Nazi.

from Wikipedia.ISIS-chan was originally conceived by users of 2channel as a response to the propaganda of the Islamic terrorism group ISIS (aka ISIL).[5][6][7][8] The character is a moe anthropomorphism of ISIL and soon became a meme across some Japanese social media.
Their intentions were to flood the web with ISIS-chan's images to make the character rank highly in Google's search engine results (Google bomb).[1][2][9] If things go well, they hoped that an Internet search for ISIS will come up with the moe character instead of militant propaganda sites.[5]
The hat is the Nazi-esque piece of the outfit.
This is the actual Nazi hat.
Uhhh the emblem on the hat and the colour
Plenty of countries, including 'muricaLol. There is a skull there. I mean, is that a real Nazi hat?O_O I mean, who in their right mind think that adding skull would make them look like a hero lol.

Thats what i said lol. Maybe the colour is the main problem rather than the hat model. On the emblem, it lack the skull and swastika so i don't really see the problem there.

.......what?might as well ban all military uniforms in general, some group of people, race, religion somewhere will be triggered but the actions of a country
no one country is innocent of their military past or present and future
I just went googling here but it is mentioned that while that symbol is used by Nazi, it seems to be also use by other nation too. Rome, Holy Roman Empire,
German Empire
and of course Nazi. This is going to be same case as Swastika huh.
What kind of WW2 history do they teach in Japan anyway?
The good ol' classic whataboutism, too bad it's not helping.might as well ban all military uniforms in general, some group of people, race, religion somewhere will be triggered but the actions of a country

The First Reich . . .
. . . the Second Reich . . .
. . . and the Third Reich.
I wonder if there's a pattern here.
what do you actually know about nazi germany? the skull is the symbol of the totenkopf, used by the SS. you know, the organization responsible for millions of jewish deaths.

The Japanese don't teach their children what happened in WW2 because it is too shameful or humiliating. Instead they make stuff up. In the past I have heard of young Japanese thinking that Australia and Japan were allies in WW2.
