Sasshi is? or is Aki-P, doing it to promote another group without the way to big 48 moniker while still making all the money... I don't keep up with the 48 kids anymore sadly. Would be amazing if it was a serious group that kinda just eclipses other "idol" groups. By that actual training and interesting songs. A man can dream lol.

Sasshi. But it will probably be a temporary thing. Just guessing. Sasshi's lyrics will probably be fun but she actually likes traditional idol songs so don't expect something radically different.

yeah that happens. look how popular Ringo got when she started making autotuned garbage

But Perfume are less autotuned than ever!

Spotify actually put a Japanese band into my "Discover Weekly." They're called TOKYO CRITTERS. I like em.

Also wow a decent number of Japanese artists on Spotify.

Gesu no Kiwami Otome's bassist Kyuujitsu Kachou is starting a new project, called DADARAY, the songs are written by him and Kawatani.
The two vocalists are REIS (no idea who that is), and Etsuko, who is a support member of Gesu and indigo la End.

As you can see in the video, Curtis and Eitarou from indigo la End are on guitar and drums duty.

That one song sounds good! This will do while Gesu and indigo la End are on hiatus, I still get my Kawatani dose this way! Hopefully we'll see a proper comeback by the end of the year.

I haven't been keeping up. I knew releases were delayed, but was he forced to go on hiatus? I just read about that new group and came here to post, too.

This was literally the first thing I saw when I got to work and I almost fell out of my chair when I saw "ゲスの極み乙女。", "課長" and "新ユニット".

Song is fantastic as well.

Thinking about that now, maybe now Crimson and マイクロコズム will be revived?

No he wasn't forced at all, he just wanted to get some time off after all what happened

I'm happy so see he's already back in some way! I expected it to take more time.

[MV] Perfume 「TOKYO GIRL」(short ver.)

seems like a pretty nothing song, but I do like that they're cutting back on the vocal effects. and they look good, like always.

I'm liking the song if I forget Kyary exists. The MV is different for Perfume but it's cool, those outfits are fab. A shame there's no dancing in the first half.

Am I looking at 4chan or something?

You are, but in my defence I found it on Tumblr

Love it
Good to see Yuriko Yoshitaka in it! I feel like it's the first time they have a celebrity starring in one of their music videos?

Man I'm hyped for Tokyo Tarareba Musume's third episode tonight now!

Edit :
Oh boy

Nocchi :bow :bow :bow

OK Go is somewhere crying.

I'm in love with this anan photoshoot, I think I'll have to pick up a copy.

Grabbed THE ORAL CIGARETTES's new album, UNOFFICIAL.
Only listened three times to it so far but I'm not feeling as much as FIXION. I mean, it's definitely a great album from start to finish, but I feel like the highs aren't as high as FIXION, which had its fair share of killer tunes that blew my mind. Overall this new release is more mellow, it actually feels like a mix between their indie mini-album and their first major album. I'm sure it'll grow on me eventually though!

Not feeling the new Passepied album Kurita-sensei

Lol that OOR video was cute. The hater comments on YT can go suck it.

Also, there's been a number of new reaction videos to OOR's "Clock Strikes" live version from Yokohama. I'm guessing there's new fans who's going through their old videos and found it to be amazing.

Haven't had too many chances to listen to the whole thing but my first impressions are that it's weirdly flat. Like, I thought Shaba-lover was just okay, but there are definitely songs on there that perk your ears up.

Dunno what it would take for me to jump off the Passepied train fully but it's been so long since I've really been wowed by their stuff. Some of the b-sides from Shaba-lover were amazing, but then I realized they were both covers (Pizzicato Five's "SPY vs. SPY" and Cornelius's "NEW MUSIC MACHINE").

lol I loved &DNA, and overall find it better than Shaba-lover. Much more variety IMO, reminds me of MakunouchiISM to be honest (tho not as good as that).

Love Yamanai Koe, Hyper Realist, Mayday, My Fiction and Yoake Mae.

Since Spotify is letting me listen to some stuff I missed from the last few years...

Alexandros' ALXD is really good. Like this album a lot.

I guess I wasn't paying attention because the Lute people are releasing a feature-film length documentary of the nu-BiS audition process (in addition to the SiS documentary I already knew about). this is a 30 minute prequel I guess?

I think this is half of an hour long special that aired on Space Shower TV a while ago. There's also a longer movie lenght cut that started airing in theaters a few days ago.

It's amusing how those porn guys have gotten way into shooting music documentaries. I watched Moshpit a few days ago and it was pretty great.

Kavka Shishido put out a trailer for a new mini-album "DO_S" (do ess). Sounds cool. Like hearing her on more pop tracks, but even the image of her playing drums and singing at the same time is super strong.

I think it's funny that this whole enterprise sprang out of the BiS spinoff of their porn video series. They're good though.

Looks like you can grab Necronomidol's From Chaos Born on cassette now. Limited to 100 copies apparently - http://moedeath.bigcartel.com/product/necronomidol-from-chaos-born-cs

I'll wait for a vinyl release.

yeah I asked Ricky if that was official because I hadn't seen anyone talk about it, and he confirmed it is. I'm glad it exists.

but yeah I'd really like it on vinyl since it's my favorite release of theirs. I didn't bite on the NEMESIS vinyl because I really wasn't into that one for various reasons.

oh also the new version of Beruha is now called There There Theres, because that's a good name I guess

I just saw it pop up on my Facebook newsfeed haha.

Yeah I haven't really listened to Nemesis that much (it doesn't play nice with my headphones).

I think Kurita said before that you can charge your amazon balance or something like that with your card, and THEN buy stuff using that card.

Edit:
iTunes, Amazon MP3 (you can use a foreign credit card on the Japanese store, through the Amazon Gift Card Balance), Ototoy
