How often does Grasshopper Manufacture release a game? Sine Mora was this year also, correct? What about that Black Knight game?
Am I the only one who is more or less annoyed by characters like this? With this pose? It just seems incredibly unappealing.

God the fluidity of that... If only platinum could handle the mechanical/animation side of this, with grasshopper on aesthetics/story/music. A collaboration like that would make my mind explode∀ Narayan;46530991 said:I feel like I've been waiting for this game since the beginning of this generation. That's definitely around the time when the first No More Heroes trailer released. A game with that aesthetic is finally here.
Here's a link to the NMH trailer. (Link)
Killer is Dead looks to be way more intense. I can't wait to see all of this in motion!

Also this year. Consider that neither was developed by them.
The last game Suda 51 directed was No More Heroes [he didn't even direct the sequel], and before that, Killer 7. That's why the later games [Shadows of the Damned, Lollipop Chainsaw] felt different.
Now that Suda 51 is once again directing for Killer is Dead, I have very...very high hopes for it. It's easily one of the top titles I'm most excited for in 2013.
Of course, I also enjoyed No More Heroes 2 [although it wasn't as good as its predecessor], Shadows of the Damned, and Lollipop Chainsaw.
Will be getting this game.
And just the other day I was contemplating buying NMH 1 and 2, though I don't own a Wii.
I hate this pose/design too, it reminds me of the girl of Sonic 06
btw this is the first Suda51 game since NMH that i am interested in, looks reeeeaaally good.
I'm not sure how I feel about the weird combo of shininess and cel-shading.
You think it's great.

Anyone else getting an Eva from MGS3 vibe?

This post doesn't make any sense to me. The game seems to be very visually inspired by sleazy Japanese action cinema of the 60-70sish, and trashy jumpsuits are one of those things you'd see. It's like saying "i dig the art style but i could do without a key visual element" -- what.I could do without the sexualized female jumpsuit and the 20-year old with knocked knees together and feet apart. Especially the latter annoys me to no end.
Otherwise, the game looks very interesting and I really dig the art style (minus the overuse of bloom).
looks like i'm in the minority here. the bloomed, lens flared, garish colored, everything is plastic, cel-shaded look is gross muddy town.
k7 had a clean, high contrast look with strong color palette. this looks like they've piled every post gimmick they had.

You don't get what he's saying? He just means he'd prefer they apply the art style -- as in the cel-shading, the shininess, the color palette, etc -- to other subject matter, involving other fashion sensibilities, etc. This post doesn't make any sense to me.
