rip castlevania and mgs
Maybe. Depends on how they will treat their most successful IP (Resident Evil) and its latest sequel. They are also in some deep mess with their Panta Rhei engine. But they also have Monster Hunter which is alive and well in Japan so they won't go anytime soon.If I had to guess next one will be Capcom.
How the mighty have fallen. Konami was top-tier during the MSX and SNES days. So many (semi) forgotten gems too, such as Snatcher, Cybernator (Assault Suit Valken), King's Valley.. Fuck, seeing their old logo hits right into the feels.
I think Capcom's a possibility to be worried about. There's internal strife with the board, all their console games seem to be shifting to service models and lowering production costs, their mobile efforts have mostly misfired and they're shifting to a cross-media Level 5 model for 3DS.Konami is not the only one. I fear for more casualties from Japan. Lets hope for the best
Probably that third chapter
ha...haaaaa... ;_;
This guy gets it:
They may exist, but not in any form you're gonna wanna touch.
See: EROTIC VIOLENCE
Christ, I wonder if he has anything to even do until December.
Dear Konami,
Now please sell the Foxengine and the Silent Hill IP to Kojima and Del Toro,
thxkbye XOXOXOXO,
Hektor
Maybe Nintendo will fund an MGS Ultimate Final Collection for NX
Yeah, have been wondering about that as well. Hell, I'm glad it's coming at all. It's going to be interesting to see how long they're going to keep the Metal Gear Online servers up this time around...
Sega gave Yu Suzuki the Shenmue license (well for Shenmue 3)
How do we get Konami to do the same thing for Kojima and Sony to bankroll?
I'd like to think that if I was running Konami, I'd at least give Kojima the option to buy the IP. He is the creator of it and while Konami has legal ownership, the IP would be nothing without Kojima.
i knew not buying phantom pain was the right choice
Developed by n-Space.Maybe Nintendo will fund an MGS Ultimate Final Collection for NX
Even more top-tier during PSX era. Probably 2nd to only Square for quality and memorable game titles during that era.

Nintendo should just buy everything and become omnipotent godsMaybe Nintendo will fund an MGS Ultimate Final Collection for NX
Can we even call PES AAA at this point?
Someone could perhaps buy the MGS IP.
I bet High Voltage could use some work.Silicon Knights!
the only acceptable option
Oh don't you worry; Konami will release Metal Gear Rising 2: Pachinkvengance in the next year or soThis actually kinda hurts... BUt i guess they are better dead than transformed into pachinko machines, right?
I think Capcom is slowly becoming the next Sega. It remains to be seen if they can recoup the disaster of Panta Rhei and Deep Down though.sörine;179230760 said:I think Capcom's a possibility to be worried about.
