2nd attempt at diamond promos, game 1. first attempt was 2 hard losses that were pretty much totally my fault, 1 win, then loss.

Hell I’d stay logged into my anonymous account and only log into my tagged one when I had something important to announce.

does that mean we should expect shadow to get buffed? because he seems to do quite a bit of damage as-is. I have never played Kayn, but I know that qt started that match feeding, couldn't farm, and started 2-shotting people with just the jungle item. It got really ugly once duskblade was online.

I play all 30 lv as a toplane, then I took Rakan and start ranked. After 10 I win only one game and I was placed bronze 1. I feel like it's not my fault, but maybe I can't even see what I did wrong

You may not have made THE game-losing play in any of your games, but if you ended up in Bronze 1 then there's no way you did nothing wrong. If you put some of the plat-diamond GAFers into bronze 1 - silver 5 games they could probably carry it on their own. It's not a big deal, though. I think the 'average' player is Bronze 1/Silver 5 (based on the number of people at each rank) . If you play more you might start realizing when you're making mistakes.

I assume he was thinking that Tyler sucks and was really bad for League and his job specifically. Which is probably true! But he didn't express that particularly appropriately.

I would like to understand better from Riot's perspective exactly what the consequences of Tyler's behavior were. Sanjuro, and Riot's ongoing ban, suggest that they viewed him as significantly more problematic than just one troll. Which makes sense, since he was a troll with a huge fan following specifically for being a troll. But that makes me wonder what the internal metrics were showing that made a Riot so determined to deal with him. Did he lead to a huge surge in antisocial behavior?

i think people like tyler1 are very unwanted because riot spends a ton of money and time trying to make league a friendlier place and people like him undermine all of that and even profit off doing so

that being said, you can't just wish ppl dead or whatever, that's just really poor form and is something that should be openly condemned by riot

really pisses me off ppl at riot would do that

Well, yeah, obviously they don't want Tyler, but Sanjuro seemed quite personally aggrieved.

in the end rioters are human

if Sanjuros job was to deal with people like tyler, it's understandable if he got angry. The outburst is the issue here, and yeah that wasn't cool doing it on a public discord like the reddit discord of all places.

I mean, I would never want to play a game with Tyler considering the risk of pissing him off and having him int, but at the same time I don't see Riot permabanning people that are far more toxic like Shaclone or Pornstar Zilean.

i look up to a lot of rioters since i think they're really smart and make really good work, so it makes me pretty mad when they're shitty for no real reason

if reddit is to be believed, he's no longer working at riot, and this is a really unfortunate and dumb thing to have happened

i don't know why those people aren't banned, but the big difference is that tyler1 built a huge audience off making the game a worse place for everyone. i like people like voyboy cos they're popular and friendly and i think by just being a positive example they make league a more pleasant place to be, while people like tyler1 work to undo all of those positive efforts

the disco nunu guy or whatever should be banned, i don't work for riot so i don't know why they don't just ban him, but i don't think that guy has as big of a negative influence as tyler1 does

like seriously fuck that guy

Damn, that sucks if he lost his job. But seeing as Riots whole thing is having a connection to the community, I can see why that outburst wasn't tolerated.

And yeah, if anything, it's alright to look up to Ritoers but you also have to understand that they err here and there. No person is perfect. Lyte should have taught that to us all.

Edit-And on that note, if you work for a company in a visible position, your opinions will always reflect that of the companies, whether you like it or not. Putting a 'My opinions are my own' on your twitter or social media profile isn't going to save you if the company feels that they've been affected by your opinion. In this case, Sanjuro insulting a high-profile streamer can only look bad on Riot, even if his opinions are his own.
