OMG!! when is this coming out!
Is Ehasz coming back or are Bryan and Mike going to pull a Lucas again?
2013
No, but there are other writers. Ehasz is working on other shows.
Totally missed that. So stupid, she has control of it which she doesn't even earn and uses it for something trivial like a race. What are they even doing?
what month in 2013? did they say?
Called it MONTHS ago that Book 2 would be Spirit.
I don't understand, what do you guys want, a perfect Avatar that never makes mistakes? that would be so boring.
...
Like Satchwar already said, the season will probably be about humbling her spirit-wise, she already got scolded by Tenzin for that, maybe later in the story she will lose the Avatar state like Aang and that will make her appreciate it more and use it responsibly.
To me it seems some of you expect the Avatar to be a perfect being or at least be another Aang, which again, would be boring and unrealistic.

I get that we're all fans, but I think some of you are fans in the sense that "I love you so much that I'll have to kill you, so you don't get the chance to hurt me."
Enjoy the ride. It's only been 12 episodes and the reaction has already reached something akin to LOST's 121st episode and series finale.
Let's just all enjoy the pretty concept art and the attractiveness of Korra's father.
Made this to visualize my complaint.

Thats the problem, she was given it. I don't want her to have control over the avatar state to begin with. She hasnt learned jack shit about it like aang did when relelasing his chakras. She hasn't matured at all, which is why she shouldn't have it. Earning control is supposed to mean she has already learned what her duty is and that she knows she's suppose to use this power responsibly. Clearly that didnt happen, so how does she have control? It makes no sense for what were told previously, but then the whole avatar state stuff hasnt been consistent with the previous series all season. By the time kuruk became fully realized he was ready to settle down, koh took his wife for his lifestyle before that.I don't understand, what do you guys want, a perfect Avatar that never makes mistakes? that would be so boring.
Korra is just a teenager, she's 17, if you give that kind of power to any normal teenager they will most likely abuse that power or be tempted to use it for their own benefit.
Mastering the Avatar state doesn't magically makes the Avatar an adult or make their minds to be more mature.
Take Kuruk for example, most of the time he used his powers to impress ladies, pick fights and have fun and he was older than Korra, and Korra unlike Aang is not a monk, Aang being raised by monks made him grow spiritually and mature faster, he was the most mature person of his group.

Well, I don't think that's a fair comparison.
There's only been one book, and the other examples you gave had avatars that had mastered their powers. Korra just tapped into the avatar state, and still needs to become accustomed to airbending.
and how did she cheat? I seriously can't remember lol

I don't expect Korra to be perfect, but I also don't expect her to be rewarded for something for no reason.
she cheats in season 2.Well, I don't think that's a fair comparison.

No.
You and everybody else. :]
I hope that's not a coincidence and he mumbles just like him.
why is everybody else in this show so fucking BASIC compared to my FLAWFREE FAV GODDESSAMI SLAYTO
can;t wait to see mako flying around and shit with fire jet feet or hands or whatever.
I wonder if the nonbenders being oppressed plotline has been dropped. I hope not. That would be a very nice side-plot to the main story.
Praise the lawd.- Asami takes over her fathers company, more business attire
- STILL A BADASS THOUGH, Goggles, and updated racing leathers
After a certain point, it seemed like the nonbenders only cared about the equalist movement because of Amon.
I know Amon is the leader, but if the non bending population have qualms with equality, it only makes sense for them to have them with or without amon.
lol mako sit in the corner over asami? mako dumped her bro the minute they got together bro.I really want an Asami/Mako confrontation scene where she just calls him out on his bullshit.
Then he can go sit in a corner or something while the real firebenders (Iroh) do their thing*.
*I don't actually hate Mako, but a scene like that would be wonderful.
Well, yes. There was no indication at the end that race relations have been calmed down, only that the guy who rallied them up was dead.
Book 2 will explore the Spirit World and how the "Avatar" lineage began. Korra will travel into the spirit world and Konietzko hints that there may be episodes later in the season dedicated to exploring the bigger landscape of the Spirit World.
Made this to visualize my complaint.
There wasn't even any indication of what happened to republic city. Yeah, Amon ran away and Hiroshi is presumably captured, but the qualists still had an iron grip on the city with technology to hold out for an extremely long time.
Apparently, we're suppose to believe that with Amon gone, the equalists lost all resolve and went home to watch TV or something.
And Aang went sliding with penguins and burned his best friends during his Book 1.
Those pictures are always funny of how different Korra is compared to the past ones, but I can't turn them into actual complaints against the show with a straight face.

i'm not feeling so hot about how many people are being added to the cast so far
i mean, the idea of having more people is really awesome!!!
but we didn't get to know TEAM AVATAR in the first season... i know we've got more writers to help improve quality, but there's only so much you can do with 14 episodes
why is tenzin still alive? he's on screen only to get knocked out, such a waste of a good design.
idk why people keep saying this, they're shows with larger casts that do a shitload in 12 or 13 episodes. The Wire comes to mind.i'm not feeling so hot about how many people are being added to the cast so far
