Right, but the 2 that were successful basically tricked him into it (they didn't really tell him about the repopulation plan) because just like MC he probably will stop fucking them when he realizes that he needs to impregnate them to save the species.

Because fuck humanity and fuck having sex.

Seems like it's pretty much Japanese hiragana, lol (which admittedly is gibberish to anyone not well-versed in moonspeak):

Well, I understood this part.

Two cannibals are eating a clown. One turns to the other and says "does something taste funny to you?"
The arts seriously gotten uglier. I didn't think that was possible, but it's true. All characters have bizarre proportions to their face. Sharp chin, weird noses.

Kinda reminds me of the Hayate butler or whatever it was called. That art also got worse.

I still have no idea what the fuck was with that random out of left field chapter where Chiaki gets drunk and tries to have his way with Kana. Like what in the actual fuck was that about?

You can't repopulate an entire species with one male and female.

It's like 6 males and thousands of women. The plot premise is that a virus killed all but 6 men who were in stasis for the treatment of some disease.

This sex ed lesson is conspicuously missing the chalkboard with "JAM IT IN." Although bonus points for just showing them all porn.

I'm doing something truly dumb by trying to follow these Triage X raws...

...

We Highschool of the Dead now.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

That makes more sense than the other stories that follow this premise.

Except there's some sort of bug where the remaining women can only be impregnated by sexual intercourse and not any kind of insemination.

Haly

One day I realized that sadness is just another word for not enough coffee.
I wish Sleepin' Planet was being translated instead of World's End Harem.

Same deal, except instead of "people are dead" it's "people fell into a coma", and only one guy can wake them all up with his blessed semen.

I actually think the dynamic with Nisaka and Nejima is pretty interesting. And after 67 chapters, Takasaki finally did something amusing:

MC isn't afraid of sex, he's just in love with a particular girl, and refuses to mate till he finds out her fate.

Right, and the nerd is probably going to say he won't do it because he doesn't like being manipulated.

The author basically replaced the cherries in chocolate covered cherries with mayonnaise.

You know, it's awfully fucking dumb for Takasaki to be friends with the girl who is marrying the man you love. I mean, I can give Lilina a pass because the story presents her as being socially inept to the point she wouldn't understand the problem. And now Takasaki is saying horseshit like asking to be invited to the wedding.

Is this arc really titled "the great red light distrect penetration operation" lol

Not sure how I feel about the god of flamboyance pillar yet but he has made for some good comedy. Pretty good chapter for Zenitsu where he is the rational guy haha.

Spending the whole chapter passionately making out ("for practice") is one thing, but that lewd hand-holding at the end is where I draw the line. Sullying Lilina's purity.

Friend by Ichiro, a cute vanilla story about your usual pair of childhood friends, one of which is a tomboy. Bonus points for the tomboy being named Tomo.

I Don't Remember Tripping that Flag!! by Gentsuki, another standard vanilla childhood friends pair story, this time about two geeky students and their video games club.

Crossdressed Kouhai-kun x Man-Hater-chan by Shomu, starring a rather violent man-hating gyaru and her very effeminate classmate. The whole 'lesbian or not' stuff comes off as awkward however, and could just have been omitted.

Kick or Sex? by Shinozuka Yuuji, portraying a boxing gyaru milf. Art is rather rough, but hey, there's a boxing gyaru milf in it.

In more Battleship-related news, there's I made a gibberish speaking cyclops girl my maid (and its sequel) by Akuheki, about a tribal cyclops with a language barrier, is pretty cute, and not all that weird or dangerous, despite what she looks like. Be careful about recklessly holding hands however.

Endorsed by our favorite Battleship, Angel's Paraphilia by Shichoson, starring a cast of users with special sexual abilities, competing in the Succumancy tournament, being challenged by the newly arrived heroine, who is surprisingly without any ability, but instead is trained with a host of secret techniques to counter all. Nonstop raunchy yuri sex, and better than Hero Academia. Let's hope it gets either a sequel or a proper serialization.

I enjoyed the first volume of Vagabond, I'll surely continue reading it. I've already read and enjoyed both Oyasumi Punpun and Solanin, also Nijigahara Holograph though I think it's weaker compared to the other two. I will check out Homunculus, thanks!

Oh wow. So I watched a few episodes of Black Jack a while back, enough that I knew he had a cute little girl assistant.

I just started properly reading through Black Jack finally, and there's been some other fairly crazy stuff already... but Pinoko's origin caught me off guard. Huh.

So uhhhhhhh sorry ahead for this massive fucking post....

The Niohonmatsu Siblings and the Adventure of Wooden Alley Chapter 1

So after what feels like forever Satoshi Mizukami of Spirit Circle and Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer fame finally brought out a new manga. There's only one chapter out and I'm super surprised I didn't hear about it until now. I just kinda found it, to be honest.

Anyways, one day this lesser demon gets saved by a mysterious pair of siblings, one who uses ice and one who uses fire. They save the lesser demon and reveal themselves to be the Nihonmatsu Siblings, a pair of divinators who do odd spiritual jobs. The lesser demon contracts the siblings to be her body guards and help get her home to the mysterious "Wooden Alley." Hijinks obviously ensue.

So it's a bit early, but I can see two main gimmicks. I don't think there's an interview or something outright saying it, but Mizukami is very clearly either Buddhist or some splinter from it. This particular series seems like it's going to be dealing very closely with Shintoism. A big idea in Shintoism is that everything has a spirit. You, your dog, your tv, your fridge. Everything and you can already see that mentality pop up here. I think this series is going to end up getting very weird very quickly in its monster and world designs.

The second big gimmick is that the siblings are clear opposites of each other, and more importantly, they are opposites of the clear personality types of hot (Joseph Joestar, Josuke) and cold (Jotaro, Giovani) that I only ever see in manga. The gimmick here though is that the one with the hot personality is the one with ice powers, and the cold, almost depressed looking one, has the hot-blooded fire powers. It's kind of a neat dynamic, and I'm curious where Mizukami plans on going with it.

Even though there's one chapter, it's so nice to have Mizukami back. I'm not 100% on the character designs here, but I do appreciate how expressive they are. I feel like this is going to be a more lighthearted series than his previous stuff, but it's hard to tell at this early stage. Mizukami's strength has always been in his unusual and often surprising characterizations and story events. With that in mind, you can already see some subtle framework being built for what will hopefully be a fun and forward moving story. The first chapter ends on a decently interesting note.

Haru no Noroi 4-5

I swear to god, these two are so fucking extra in all the ways I actually really love. I'm not going to pretend this isn't melodramatic to the 10th degree, but fuck man, I wasn't expecting this kind of shit by chapter four. This is why I hate reading this, I get so instantly invested in this over the top nonsense that when I quickly run out, I'm just itching for more. Like... after that dramatic exchange, she somehow (And by pure accident!) stumbles upon her dead sister's twitter page with 33 followers. It has this good bit. It's nice to know that both these sister's are kinda crazy.

For real though, I'm really excited to get into the part of the story with the horrified, pained, anguish faces because they are so fucking good and, artistically, 100% my fucking jam. I super adore Asuka Konishi's style. Like, just look at these fucking faces!!!

I fucking knew Seo was going this route. It's not either unexpected or unwelcome, I could just tell the drummer was gonna get with the guitarist.

What causes the impending zombie plague?
From what I could gather, it looks like a virus known as D99 was found in a village many years ago to have healing/regenerative attributes. It was used to help Arashi after his accident by Old Man Masamune. Old Man Masamune destroyed the virus but one of the original goons that found it was pissing about with it secretly elsewhere, as you would. That's how Berserker Sayo came to be. It also looks like the Platinum Lily drug that Kyogi's Posse (creepy goon with all those girls hooked on Platinum Lily) is distributing is actually a derivative of the/is the D99 virus. I think the guy (forgotten his name who was injected with Platinum Lily) from the school kids that were kidnapped to draw out Mikoto, along with the girls Arashi accidentally released when rescuing Big Boobed Officer Suzue, are the ones spreading the D99 virus.

Feel free to correct me if I've ballsed it up. 😉
