That was very meh. Pretty boring actually, and short too.
That trailer sucked. Shepard and Ashley fighting Husks with random ship flying interspersed in. Whoop-de-fucking do.
Thx, but i meant the second part. Which I found out is also two steps from hell - Black BladeAh, that first bit of music is "After the Fall" from two steps from hell.

Ashley is rather busty these days...guess she got the Miranda treatment.
Probably just a lot of padding underneath to protect the twins.
Also why her instead of Kaiden.
The shorter trailer was much, much more powerful. Very weird editing in this one.
The Mass Effect 2 Launch Trailer was one of the best trailers ever made for any game. Perhaps the best trailer.

A CG trailer is simply not needed if you can achieve that quality.
- LOL, you fire a weapon, way to cater the CODbros.I looked into the future and saw the GAF response:
- LOL Dialogue
- Where are the RPG elements?
- Too much shooty.
- Press A to win LOL
- Those Facial animations UGH
The one with the British sniper? I agree. The shorter trailer was much, much more powerful. Very weird editing in this one.
If I'm not mistaken, this isn't supposed to be the launch trailer. That's coming in a few weeks at, well, launch.
Correct, ME2 had a CG trailer as well before launch.

When you say launch trailer, you mean right at launch day? Not a few days before?

i don't follow the mass effect games but judging from the trailer, the story becomes some sort of alien invasion instead of space travel and exploration?

Apparently they are released an extended version of the trailer on the 21st February.

God, what is the fucking point? These painfully drawn out PR roadmaps never cease to irritate me. Your extra 30 seconds of space zombies are really not that important.

It was a day or two before, I think. I know GameSpot put their copy up early, so EA had to out it early, but I don't remember the exact timeline.
It's an attempt to keep people talking about ME3. They figure the longer they talk about it, the more likely they'll influence friends who aren't in ME to pick it up and give it a try.
It also means that it gets multiple news stories as each trailer comes out.
I'm pretty sure ME2's was a week before, it might have been 2 even.
