So, if this fan revival thing reaches 100,000 likes, what's going to happen? Will Capcom bring it back? Or will they not give a damn and keep it cancelled?

what a cruel bump
Because RE6 is just as monstrous as this. Tough truth, my friend, but we've had a number of Revelaitons recently, and they are or aren't pretty.why make mml3 when they can make re6 and make millions
why gaf
why

It would be amazing if it meant that. This game looked so fun...what does axed mean? did they delay it?
Same here. I thought we had some news or something...I always get my hopes up when this gets bumped. Unfortunately, it only leads to more disappointment.
They've sold a bit more since then. As of the latest NPD, the numbers were:
Mega Man Legends - 392,136
Mega Man Legends 2 - 179,660
The Misadventures of Tron Bonne - 22,801
Why would they do that if they can easily give it to Ninja Theory to reboot it.Since Capcom don't want to make more mega-man games, they can sell this franchise to Nintendo.

It's not like it matters.
The director of the game is gone and it's just far too late for Capcom to even care.
The fact that it took this long to get even close to 100k pretty much means that this petition will do nothing.
If it was at 100k within a month or less, then yes.

As I've said before: if anything, this whole endeavour proves Capcom right in cancelling the game.
I wanna know too! First I've heard of it.Eguchi left Capcom? Where is he now?
Dragon's Dogma is a dream project for some of the staff. WHY CAN'T THE MML STAFF HAVE THEIR DREAM PROJECT AND FINISH THE SERIES OFF PROPERLY?So in 4 days they got 5,000 more people.
Why is there now the sudden resurgence in interest in this rather than before or when it got canceled?

(Actually I have no idea, it's just interesting that they'll OK that but not MML.)

I'd say there's no hope either but it still feels very possible that CC2 could take the current progress and finish it from there. I only say this since they seem to share interest in that kind of game, even funding their own "legends" stye game, solatoboro. Although I can't imagine Capcom having much confidence in CC2 after what an enormous flop Asura was.
GAF, deep down you KNOW that if they develop mml3 it would suck major balls. Please, don't tarnish my rose-tinted memories.

Only because at least two of the key staff apparently left, and the rest are probably tied up in other stuff now anyway. If they went back now they'd be crippled compared to if this sailed for under ideal conditions.GAF, deep down you KNOW that if they develop mml3 it would suck major balls. Why are you reopening old wounds?

YES.
Naaaah.
here's something that's actually bump-worthy.
It's unseen footage they had of the game before it was cancelled. Shows a lot of the island that we would've gotten to explore in the Prototype as well as our comentators miserably failing at the Guest Boss battle.

Gosh... The only shot I had at an open-world game on my favorite handheld.
