Hah, yeah, I wouldn't mind getting a fresh run through the game.
A divisive game, to be sure. But one I'll always remember.
The same here, the actual title has taken on a whole new meaning for me since completing it. Only Kojima can stir such emotions with a game

It has its own icon. GZ is truly attached to PP. Its all ONE game. The menu lets you pick where you wanna start with.
I beat GZ so it defaults to PP because I told it to.
I have the retail version though.

Sandstorms and smoke screens are the best thing in the next.
I was sneaking into an outpost in Afganistan to find the weapon gunsmith and a sandstorm can at just the right time. My heart was racing as I snuck out with the prisoner.
My heart also races when I use smoke grenades. They help alot but there's always one guy who dodges it and tries to find out where you're at.
I got Quiet the outfit where she's covered in blood. Lol
I got Quiet the sleep gun but it's crazy loud. I can't wait until I unlock her supressor or that gun.
One of Quiet's animations on the helicopter shows her stretching her back and looking at Snake with a "You wanna come and get it or not?" There's huge sexual tension going on between Quiet and Snake.

Entire mission without a HUD is pretty awesome actually great night and fog atmosphere.
Love the foggy mountain valley and stream section, too:

Cool little detail... you can actually follow the 1 guard at the gate all the way from the gate, through the camp by the stream, to the tunnel:

The DLCs never got discounted on PS Store while they did on Steam. In fact DLCs rarely get disocunted on PSN. The Definitive Edition (GZ + TPP + all DLCs) costed 17 in Christmas deal which is less than the sum of all the DLCs.
Such a great easter egg. But always bothered me that the voice actor said "nine eleven" rather than "nine one one."

actually my original version of my post mentioned that haha but i thought i was overthinking it and maybe it detracted from my main point about the radio new's murder announcement.
but yeah that stuck out to me, too... 9-11 not 9-1-1... was thinking, is there some regional dialect or maybe a state (i'm canadian) where that's more common to say it that way? (or maybe in the 1980s?).

I know for the most part, North America always refers to it as 9-1-1. And only 9-11 when either referring to the Porsche or the September 2001 attacks.

A random main mission triggered during a mission where some guys invaded Mother Base.... I tried to win but it was basically impossible. I failed the quest...
Use sonar, mark enemies, then snipe from a distance.
I just got the Phantom Pain on sale, but i'm not interested in Ground Zeroes and the DLC looks like crap. So no skin off my back.
