Mirror's Edge Catalyst Launch Trailer - Why We Run

If this game doesn't sell well above EA's expectations (around 2 million if I recall correctly), I'll be surprised and disappointed. It looks absolutely wonderful in every way, plays like a dream, and seems like a huge improvement over the first game. And the marketing for it is great too. I hope people step up and buy it, because it really looks like it deserves it.

I was hoping they'd bring back the theme song from the first game "I'm Still Alive" for the trailer instead of some usual video game trailer electronic/dubstep.

Remember this? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2N1TJP1cxmo

I remember that very first trailer for the first Mirror's Edge had this song and it really left a good long lasting impression on people when EA first showed it. It wasn't about action, or cool trailer moments. It was just Faith free running on rooftops with bright blue skies as "I'm Still Alive" begun playing. It all had a nice flow. The song or a similar one to it could have done the same for this new one.

Keep an eye here and they'll update with a countdown whenever the embargo is known

No info yet. The three people that got back to me said they hadn't received review copies yet :-\ Though cool to see a lot of GAFers putting in score predictions.

A few of EA's previous embargoes had the game go out on the EA Access 10-hour trial thing before the embargo lifted. Will be curious if this one follows suit.

No, the marketing is weak.

As for reviews. I'm guessing something between 80-85 since the first one had a 78 metascore I believe.

You're definitely not alone.

I'm a little more pessimistic though... Demo wasn't great. Felt like there wasn't much gameplay tbh.
