This is the same thing that happened during the Bush administration. The Republicans turned everything they touched to shit, and then literally wrapped themselves in the flag like it's a fucking invisibility cloak to escape all criticism. Flags on dicks, flags on car bumpers, flags on lapels, standing under flag banners, flags on coffins. Nothing ever changes. When the Republicans are in charge everything is on fire except the flag because it is made of a fire retardant cloth.

People will argue it has nothing to do with the flag and people just don't want to be called out for their racism while they're participating in a form of entertainment. But how can you be racist when there are black athletes on your favorite team?
And plus it doesn't even matter what color Josh Reddick is. This is not about color. He clearly loves the flag enough to let it come into contact with his genitals. A fragile area of the human body you don't want to let just anything touch. He is a good man standing proud, not kneeling mind you, while displaying the flag of this great, not racist country for everyone to see. He obviously loves our great flag. If anything this is clearly the beginning of a liberal agenda machine deployed in an attempt to start a war on our freedom and the right to the public display of patriotism.

I mean, if explaining the actual reason behind the protest was too much for their brain to comprehend then what makes you think pointing out hypocrisy will have any better effect? They're figuratively covering their ears, closing their eyes and shouting "Nanananana can't hear you!" a rational discussion won't get through to these people.
