I'm going, first time attending anything of this sort. Always wanted to go to things like E3 or Comic-con, but this will have to do for now.

Excited to watch some SC2, wish some of my favorite players were competing but oh well.

CoD's gonna have some insane numbers this event, it's growing so fast as an esport. The Sc2 tourney has fewer 'big' names but tons of americans which is good to see.

I might check it out. I haven't watched SC2 for over a year I think. nvm, still too many obnoxious commentators around.

I wonder if we'll be able to watch this with the Xbox app. I know they won't have mobile viewing enabled.

Oh, and no Flash or Innovation right?

Poor Ben. He deserved better. :(

I'm rooting for him hard to make it to the final rounds in this tournament.

I feel like either Jaedong, HerO, HyuN or Stats is gonna take the crown though. The Dong has come so damn close in the past few major tournaments he's competed in. I feel like he'll let nobody stand in his way this time.

Damn thats a pretty shitty roster, at least compared to previous MLG's in the past. Great I suppose for those who love American players and want to relieve some of that early Wings nostalgia, but man, its a definite dip in actual player skill for sure. I'll still watch, but it probably wont be as exciting or interesting as I may have hoped.

Why do you say that? Sure not a lot of old faces here but there are some new ones. Looking forward to a lot of the matches. Helps that its in NA time too.

Sad that MKP did not get in this. Would have loved to see him play in MLG again.

Its a shame the best area for attendance in the US is also the place with the worst time zone for europeans :(

Ill prob try and stick it out until 3/4am, depending on what matches are on

Err, thats the thing, it IS alot of old faces. Alot of NA pros who are pretty low in the totem pole now in terms of actual skill or results. Previous MLGs used to have a more diverse and exciting cast of Koreans, so I'm definitely a little disappointed. I mean, it cant really be argued that the actual skill level is significantly lower at this MLG than the previous few. I'm sure many actually prefer it this way, with a greater emphasis on local NA talent, and I'm happy for them, just personally dont find it as exciting is all.

Like honestly, guys like Incontrol/Nony/LzGamer etc. I'm sure many will be actually pretty stoked to see these guys again, but for myself, no thanks.

It probably has to do with the roster being terrible compared to recent MLG's. Still nice to have a big LAN but the player line-up (and caster line-up to a lesser extent) are pretty disappointing.

Welp, can't watch on Apple TV or Xbox app. GG MLG/Twitch.

Does Apple TV have a twitch app yet?! I've been waiting forever, doesn't surprise me that even if there is one it would somehow fail to work like you'd expect it to. For most things I'm still using the (awful) Twitch app on my old iPhone and streaming it to my Apple TV, unless the tournament is disabled on the mobile app like many are by the streamer because the app didn't support ads or subscriptions.

For MLG I usually just plug an old laptop into my TV so I can at least watch at 1080p. So lame how even today it's so kludgy to watch this stuff in my living room.

The only good way to watch twitch on something that does not have a web browser that supports flash is to use something like splashtop to stream your PC screen to it.
Sad but true.

Oh, I just AirPlay most twitch streams to my Apple TV from my iPad or iPhone.

I find it funny how long it took for Twitch to develop their 360 app and they still couldn't figure out a way to implement ads in any streams.

Ah yeah that's what I do as well. I was briefly excited by the thought Twitch might be on Apple TV natively because I know ATV had an update not that long ago, dang.

Cool, excited to see COACH throw down against this rando guy. But sigh another PvP.

Fix this echo MLG, turn down that stage mic in. :p
