Wrap Sharing has been one of the most requested features to date and because of this we’re adding a new option within the Paint and Wrap section that will allow you to browse and download wraps shared by other players. If you’re a wrap creator then simply mark your creation as shareable and it’ll show up for everyone else.
Downloading and applying a community made wrap is as easy as heading into the community wrap section in the 'Paint and Wrap' section, finding one that you like and hitting the download button. Once downloaded you'll then be able to apply it to your ride and even edit and tweak it should you wish.
In total, eleven new cars will be getting new parts:
- Ford Focus RS
- Chevrolet Camaro Z28
- BMW M3 E92
- Ford Mustang Boss 302
- Ford Mustang Foxbody
- Ford Mustang GT
- Mazda MX5 (2015)
- NISSAN 180sx Type X
- NISSAN Silvia Spec-R
- SUBARU BRZ Premium
- SUBARU Impreza WRX
What it looks to me is we're always gonna an update blog at the end of every month with the update in the next month (like today's update blog in January, but patch in February)I got rid of my console version seeing that it was coming to PC (I built a PC with i7 4790 EVGA 980 ti after Christmas). The lack of news is saddening.
Snapshot Pro is an exciting new feature being added into Need for Speed and we’ve got all the tips and tricks you need to help you get a head start in creating some awesome-looking photos of your sweet, sweet ride.
From the moment you load up Snapshot Pro you’ll have plenty of options available. Frame your car with the analogue sticks, tilt and roll the camera with the shoulders buttons or zoom in and out with the d-pad.
Within the Effects menus you’ll find a number of sliders that will help you fine tune your Snapshot, these include:
Color Filters
A selection of colour filters that you can apply to your Snapshot, similar to those found in many camera apps. Adjust the strength to suit your required look.
Lens Effects
Exposure Compensation – Vary the exposure of the image
Chromatic Aberration – Adds the lens artefact on edges of objects
Focal Distance – Use in conjunction with “Depth of Field” to set the distance in which the “blur” starts
Depth of Field – Varies the amount of “blur” to the background, replicating the depth of field of a camera
Lens Distortion Gains – Create a fish eye effect more commonly associated with wide angle lens (zoom out)
Miscellaneous Effects
Vignette – Darkens the corners of your image, replicating camera lens limitations
Film Grain – Turn on or off the “noise” for desired film look
Rain Effect – Toggle the rain
Bodywork Damage – Toggle damage to your car
Lens Flares – Hide the lens flare created by lights in the world
Wheel Position – Angle the wheels of the car
Pro Tips
Our resident concept artist Khyzyl Saleem takes you through some helpful tips and examples of snapshots he recently took.
Choosing the environment
Have a think about what type of environment and story you want for your picture. Take a drive around Ventura Bay, there are often great locations off the normal race routes that you may have missed.
Beckenholl- Urban gritty,
Crescent Mountains - Panoramic, scenic views of city
South Port - Industrial, smoky atmosphere
Focusing and Framing the Car
Try moving the camera further away from the car then zooming in. This will flatten the image, and help to make the car look less distorted and realistic. Replicating a longer lens that is often used in car photography.
Create a subtle blur to the background using the Depth of Field and Focal Distance sliders in the Lens Effects tab. Again this will help bring focus to the car, replicating the shallow depth of field created by a longer lens.
A subtle vignette (Miscellaneous tab) around the edges of the image will also help bring the focus to the car and frame the image.
Fix the damage and turn the wheels so the rims face the camera (Miscellaneous tab) if you wish.
Color Filters
Find a filter that will complement the lighting and environment, low strength values can help increase or decrease the contrast depending on the look you are after.
Help from your Crew
Invite some more players to your crew, and use their headlights to help light your scene. You could also go for some actions shots, racing, jumping, get creative! Or just let the cars do the talking

Worth it?
Quick question- what views are available? Just 3rd person and bumper?
Ghostben, is it possible you guys can let us lock our photomode settings to be used for gameplay like in Order 1886? Having no post processing/CA/Film Grain makes the image quality much better.
*pics here*
Omg I would love that so much. My eyes would be migrating if that's possible.
Should be easy to do as the game still plays in real-time in photomode anyway. Hope it happens.
I really do hope that happens. Also looking at your pics make look bad lol. I have a hard time framing xP

The DOF blur in this photomode is really low quality, so I'd avoid using that. Move the camera position out, and zoom in with the dpad to your liking, the car proportions will look more accurate and it should be easier to frame a certain look. Basically just keep playing around with it, you'll get the hang of it eventually. I've been messing around with photomodes since GT4.
Also, change your PS4 share settings from JPEG to PNG for higher quality screen captures without compression.

Hopefully!@SliChillax: I think the word on the PC version could be a couple day after tomorrow's thing.
Hopefully!
Also, since they're trying to show that they're actually listening to the community, do you guys reckon they might have caught a glimpse of people begging to pause the game in single player mode?
I don't know if that's ever gonna happen it being an online game.
HAHAHAHAHA teasing a manual transmission for a racing game whos target audience is the tuner crowd. MT in a racing game?! who would have thought? what a stupid fucking decision to not include MT from the get go. now that i got that out, if this update adds MT then im buying. for pc of course. unless they lock the fps to 30 =/They're teasing manual transmission

Man I'm having some problems with Eddie's Challenge 5. The rubberbanding in this one is very obvious - if I go slow the AI goes slow as well, if I go fast they pull incredible laptimes. Gonna have to try again and wait until it's the last timed lap until I go for the best result. :/
This is probably the dumbest thing I've ever had to write, but I'm so excited for Manual transmission to be added to this racing game.
