I'd imagine the longer they take to make a decision, the more it favors Rivera staying. And you know what...I think I'm OK with that.
The players clearly love playing for him and you can't say that about every situation in the league (*cough* Tampa Bay *cough*).

I'm conflicted on this. Rivera was garbage for a year and a half, but the team woke up at the end. If you're going to fire him now then you better have a AAA coach coming in.

To say he doe not have a history of choking out is silly. Because he won 1 super bowl the argument is invalid? Because anything can happen mentality makes the argument invalid? How many times did they go epic records barely play him then not make the AFC Championship? Now does this mean he will choke this year, no. Nothing is definite(besides browns/lions sucking). But to say he isn't a historical choke is laughable.

Too many firings just for firings sake. There aren't enough talented coaches out there at this point.
Need an offensive minded head coach. I agree about Cutler. Bears can put the franchise tag on him if need be. No reason to sign him long term.

Hoping that Kyle isn't dumb enough to pull a Garrett or Spagnola. He's got a great situation here in Washington.
I think I'm of the opinion that if we can't get Chip Kelly or get Cowher to come out of retirement, we should probably keep Rivera. When in doubt, go with consistency.
