NieR: Automata World Guide Book releasing in Japan on February 23

NC link.

Prepare to be even more excited for NieR: Automata because Square Enix is releasing a special book containing artwork of the game’s world with two novellas and more.

Titled “NieR: Automata World Guide Art Cartulary”, the B5-sized 192 page book will feature a hefty amount of art of the game’s world that 2B and crew will explore in PlatinumGame’s latest RPG. To spice things up, expect additional concept art for each and every area of the world in NieR: Automata as well as a few comments from game director Yoko Taro about the characteristics of the areas.
Not only that, the book will also come bundled in with two novellas written by Emi Nagashima who worked on Drakengard: The Red Unto Death manga series and the Drakengard 3 short stories. The novellas will generally act as a stimulus for those who wishes to better understand and enjoy the world of NieR: Automata.

To end things with a bang, tucked in deep in the book will be a map of all the areas in the game including comprehensive explanations and bits of data to help players find collectables and other items.

The book is available for pre-order on the Square Enix e-Store and is set to release on the same day as the game’s release in Japan on February 23, 2017.
Might grab this.

I assume this will be the book that explains all the crazy ass stuff they won't even try to explain in the game

Would love an English Nier Automata artbook but hopefully one that isn't limited to the restricted & overpriced Square Enix Store.
