Put up or shut up. Buy all the quality indies you haven't bought that already came out. :)

I really have no problems with these empty weeks, there's so much stuff I still haven't bought and I already bought a lot of eShop stuff without even moving into Skunk territory..

At least NoA's weird VC scheduling means that we're still getting those at this point. Europe looks pretty dire at this point, though.

I don't. And it's not about having something to play (I still have a couple retail games to buy/play as well as indie and VC titles in my backlog). I'm worried Nintendo is going to stop VC on Wii U soon without releasing The Last Story and other titles. I'm sure some people wouldn't mind having Radiant Dawn on there. Maybe AW Dark Conflict, Browsers Inside Story, you know? Instead it's several weeks of nothing.

Animal Crossing: Wild World got rated by the ESRB for Wii U, guessing that'll be the VC title for US this week.

Whoops, my bad. For some reason, I was thinking it was one of those "already in EU, but not US" games.

Not sure why the ESRB had it listed under the "last 2 weeks" category when it was about a month ago that it came out.

No. But what do you mean "still?" It only just came out in PAL/JP.

I thought it was out in Japan for years. Guess not.

Given the choice between Smash 64 and F-Zero X, I'd take Smash. But there hasn't even been any hints or anything that might point to Smash 64 ever being re-released. I have the Wii VC release, but I'd rather play the game using the Wii U gamepad and not the Wii Classic Controller.

...or maybe they rig up a way for the VC release of Smash 64 to use the GCN adapter.

Oh wow, Excitebike 64 is new, wonder if it keeps the NES version as an unlockable.

Might get Wario Land: Shake It again if it goes on sale since I've beaten all the stages, but not 100%'d it.

Never got around to buying Wario Land Shake It, good to see it on VC.

As Wii U winds down I'm hoping they'll get more DS VC releases out since Switch may not support DS VC. Still hoping for some rarer games I missed like Super Princess Peach and, if the pieces somehow fell into place (no pun intended,) Tetris DS.

Oh yes, Nikki!!

This is worth celebrating. Is there a Nikki/Swapnote theme on 3DS I could get (NA)? I want to show my apprecciation.

Huh, a spiritual successor to Swapnote? Sure, why not. It was fun seeing all the different stationary you could get.

Edit: Seems it's also trying to hide some Art Academy stuff as DLC. There's a free starter pack & "silver glitter & Stationery Set", then a bunch of "lessons" for $2.99 which gives you more colored pens, stationery, lessons on how to draw different things, & the thick pen.

It's been something like 15 years since I last played it and I'm surprised how demanding Excitebike 64 is. Good, but really asks a lot of you.

Yep.

Quietly impressed by the 7th Dragon demo. It's a bit ugly and story seems dumb but the gameplay/UI is snappy and the battle system seems simple but well designed (especially the girl with the cards, reminds me of the gems in Trails). Definitely on my radar now, the kind of b-tier jrpg you tuck away for a rainy day or software drought.

Soundtrack is really solid too overall.
