how is that possible that we don't get live video streaming ?
It's probably incase something goes wrong. Then they can edit that part out. Just my guess.

The lights are dimming! Applause. John Hodgman is on the screen: "I have a personal message from Steve Jobs. Just relax that brain for a while. Let's let the Mac users experience compatibility problems. Tend to your compost pile, your poetry, your art. You can help out on Vista, we can use your help there. Whatever else you've been working on, you can stop now. We went to the Big Island together, lots of karaoke."

It's sort of sad that they have to poke fun of their competition to get attention.

??? Apple has always done this. Hell, their most famous commercial was showing how Apple would allow you to "break free" from the IBM PC.

edit: Jeez, no wonder you can't get a Core 2 processor. Apparently Intel's been shipping them all over to Apple :lol

Guess not only Microsoft gets "attacked" today:

MacRum: "usually more expensive" - great product to bust that myth
MacRum: $1000 more to get close from Dell

Nah. It's just a marketing thing. But we all know anyone buying these is going to put in at least a gig or RAM. Bare minimum.

It says it comes with a gig.

256MB is the gfx card.

they're probably comparing it to what you can buy from Dell "right now", which probably doesn't include any Core 2 Duo processors. Dell likes to clean out their retail channels of old stock before they allow you to buy the new thing.

Looks like they're about ready to start talking about 2007 products and Leopard. (er, wait, my feed appears to be getting wacky)
