Enron said:Not by much. He strikes out FAR too much, and hits for a paltry average every year. His career OPS+ is 107, which is basically average. All he'll do is hit 20 homers and get some steals. You aren't going after Mike Cameron for his offense, that's for sure.
I knew there was 100% turnover in the NL, but now that you mention it yeah, it did turn out that way.Wellington said:Has anyone mentioned that the Yankees are the only team to return to the post-season from last year?

It's alright. My first post would've been the same no matter what the thread was called.Triumph said:Sorry, Juice. But it had to be done, for great justice.

I am firmly on the Phillies bandwagon. I don't like any of the AL teams, so if the Phillies fall I'll have to switch to the Rockies.
When they both fail I will hate baseball.

Dr. Strangelove said:How can you hate the Red Sox? They have the new grittiest player in baseball on their roster!
DUSTIN PEDROIA. GRIT INCARNATE.
Gee, CC looks a lot different since I last saw him. When did he turn white and gain an extra chromosome?

Also, gotta say that I'm neither surprised nor broken up over the Andruw thing. Wish him the best, but it was time to move on IMO.

Well, it depends on what we do with his spot and the money we would have spent on him. I wouldn't be averse to signing an Aaron Rowand type player who can put up decent numbers, plays good defense and above all else has some FIRE. This group of players is a little complacent imo. I don't think we should sign Torii Hunter, as that much money is better spent on pitching. Also, no Mike Cameron please. Just put Brandon Jones out there if you're gonna do that, or move Frency to center and put BJ in right.Enron said:Yes, but are you HAPPY?
God knows i am.
Y2Kev said:I don't want anyone to pick the Yankees. This is the first time in a while the Yanks are the definite underdogs. I like the attention being off us for a change.
