This thread brought back some good memories.

I still remember loving to watch all MSL/OSL/Proleague VODS in a huge batch. I normally never had the time to watch em streamed live, so I would normally consume a few weeks worth of vods in a few days or so, going for a marathon session. It always motivated me to play more SC, always loved the various songs they would play as well. I still watch SC stuff, just nowhere near as much as I was a few years ago.

My prediction:

Flash 3-1

I hope Free can work in some bm (bad manner) because he is a baller.
His play is very strong in all matchups, but he is facing Flash.

What I really fear for free is harassment play that fails and costs him the game.

- free is a royal roader this OSL (Qualify on first try) and is undefeated(9-0).

Anything can happen, but Flash should roll Free and give us an epic Flash vs Jaedong OSL finals during what could be the last OSL ever due to the Blizzard-Gretech-KeSPA garbage. It would be the most appropriate to have the 2 greatest titans of Broodwar face off in the last major competition, and would hopefully end with Flash earning his Golden Mouse at last.

I recently started downloading and watching the VODs of the old OSL finals. It's great seeing how awful some of the early play was. I'm looking forward to watching how the game changes after some of the players who really changed the game make their appearances.

Fun fact: Flash has made it to both the MSL and OSL finals 3 times in a row now. I believe that is a new record.

It's never happened before, no. Players have made 4 MSL finals (savior) or 3 OSL finals (Boxer) in a row, but never the same player contemporaneously.
