Dig Dug would be better
Fuck yeah. Simon Belmont particularly(not just to round out the Captain N video team), since out of all the CV games, he appeared in the most Nintendo-released games(3; Castlevania, Castlevania II: Simon's Quest and Super Castlevania IV, if not counting Vampire Killer, which would make it 4). Besides, fuck modern relevancy and the Kojima fanboys who'd try to say it's all about popularity, there were more CV games released for Nintendo consoles(and handhelds) than there were Metal Gear games released for them. Castlevania needs it's due as the PROPER representative for Konami!Fuck that poser. We need Belmonts or (by Hudson which Konami owns) Bomberman
Probably the most iconic character they could ever add besides pac man

IIRC, the third leak from Sal didn't say the team wants Lucas to be DLC. It just said they're considering DLC, and separate from that, there is internal debate about cutting Lucas. But yes, from that one can infer Lucas would be a possible DLC candidate, if cut. I'm sure any and all cut characters could possibly come back as DLC. Could be lucrative if they charged for them...
It's because Pacman is a dinosaur of a relic, & most of the kids in the audience will go 'huh' if they had watched this trailer. (For the record, I'm only half-joking.)Pac-Man is so awesome, but man, I really do wonder why they didn't close out the Invitational with him. I'm sure there was a reason, I'm just not sure offhand what it may be.
Mickey Mouse is pushing it. Sora would be a better fit.
wish this was next please based sakurai
If you're really talking Muppets, then Elmo is not the answer. The answer is the one who is owned by Disney:
u are the next one
Oh my god just saw this on tumblr hahahah
Mickey Mouse is pushing it. Sora would be a better fit.
Does anyone care if he leaves? I don't think I know anyone who enjoys playing as him.
I vote a Dragon Quest character so it could be alil more relevant in the west >_<We need Square Enix to get into the race. I can't think of anyone in particular(old school Fighter from the first FF, Slime from DQ, Crono from CT or Randi from SoM), though I could think Bub and Bob(from Bubble Bobble) would make a killer addition for their Taito side!!
Trying to find this 3rd leak. Any source?
Never in a thousand years would I have imagined seeing this picture, it's beautiful....:')
Yeah, probably this. They might have been worried that the Invitational would turn into a disaster, or that the crowd reaction would be resoundingly negative. Basically they played it safe and lost out on a big opportunity.
The third leak was posted at Gematsu this morning, before the E3 Digital Event. Same leaker who revealed Wii Fit Trainer, Villager, Mega Man, etc, before last E3. The third leak essentially says that the team was internally debating whether to cut Lucas, there is talk of post-launch DLC character releases, and the leaker once again reaffirmed the following newcomers: Mii Fighters (identified by name, before the event), Palutena (although he called her "Goddess Palutena"), Pac-Man, Shulk, Chrom, and Chorus Men.Trying to find this 3rd leak. Any source?
Clearly the crowd would rather watch Famitsu beat Gameinformer. They might have been worried that the Invitational would turn into a disaster, or that the crowd reaction would be resoundingly negative. Basically they played it safe and lost out on a big opportunity.
That's gotta be his final smash, right?
Well, yeah, that's obvious. But G&W hasn't been confirmed as a character yet, has he? Thought it might be a tease.Pac-Man and the first Game & Watch game came out in 1980. Donkey Kong came out in 1981. Thus Mr. Game & Watch and Pac-Man are both a year old than Mario and DK.
Why does everyone keep mentioning the 90s?
Mickey Mouse is pushing it. Sora would be a better fit.

Next is adding the guy from Pitfall.
I gotta admit, they pulled off Pac-Man much better than I expected
It'd be like telling someone in WWII-era America that someday all of their kids would be playing Japanese gamesOh man. Imagine trying to convince someone back in the 90's that these 4 would all be together in the same game someday.
A Bomberman announcement would elevate this game to the next level.
All the characters sans mii and the villager (don't like his/her artstyle in general) look amazing!I gotta admit, they pulled off Pac-Man much better than I expected
