PC version of Metal Gear Rising in the final stages of development (any day now)

Currently polling second in Australia's federal election (first in the Gold Coast), this feral may one day be your Bogan King.
What's so exciting about this game? Looks like a standard DMC style action game.

The encounters are varied, the combat system is interesting enough to differentiate itself from other character action games (more focused on Samurai-like defence and clashing with attacks instead of mobility and dodging), it's well presented in music and scenarios, and has some excellent boss fights along with a memorable climax.

It's short, feels a bit barebones compared to a lot of other character action games, and the combat system could be taken further, but I feel all these things are indicative of a game that was locked in development hell at KojiPro and finally handed off to Platinum games who had to redesign the game basically from scratch and finish the entire project in a short period of time.

Like, I don't rate it on the scale of Bayonetta and The Wonderful 101, but only because those are far larger productions in every sense; content, scope, depth, and longevity. But Revengeance is still a tremendously fun and well envisioned/executed game by any standard and another great notch on Platinum's belt.
