The amount of (2) I've seen in Resistance 2 I'd assume that's pretty popular split-screen as well.

Really? I always pronounce it "loo-me-ness" (me as in Me, myself, ness as in sweetness). Essentially the same as "loo-min-ez" I guess. If they wanted it pronounced luminous, they should have named it that way :\

That's how I've always thought of it.

That's what he meant.

"loo-mi-nez" is correct (as is the Japanese "roo-mi-ne-su").
"loo-mines" (like the exploding things) is not.
