A Punch-Out!! style VR boxing game? Hell yes!

Also, I hadn't been paying much attention to Golem, but I found some videos on YT and it looks like it might be pretty awesome too.

Ah, so that Alvo game in the list is from Quiz Night Tonight developer.

5v5 online shooter with Aim support.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z3HqHL66tuo

Cross platform baby!

Game modes: Search and Destroy, which is a 5 v 5 round based game mode, where one side attempts to plant the bomb and the other team must defend the sites and/or defuse the bomb.

Free 4 All: Every player for themselves, no teams, no mercy..

Domination: This is a game mode based on capturing control spots all over the map, and holding them. The team with the most amount of points at the time limit will win.

Alvo will allow players to play cross platform across the three major VR headsets, PSVR, Vive an Oculus.

Alvo will have online bots for players to play with, in the case that there is not enough users online.

I'm hoping to see some feedback soon - I'd like to get it when it releases in the US.

I'll wait and see if Megaton Rainfall is good.
I might get No Heroes Allowed if that one turns out to be disappointing.

I'm in a very very deep hole now.
I have a budget of $100.
Games I want this year:
Doom VFR, Skyrim VR, Mario Odyssey, South Park, Megaton Rainfall, Yakuza Kiwami 2, FFXV fishing, Dead Hungry.
Not to mention all of those unconfirmed release date like Diner Duo, Persistence etc.

*Edit: And oh god, Bravo Team is a must buy. Moss. Ark Park. Drunkn Bar Fight.

About the Game

Run Dorothy Run is an immersive Endless Runner and Rhythm Virtual Reality (VR) game, with a cheeky take on the literary classic The Wonderful Wizard of Oz
Run, jive, and bob your your way through Oz to an electro-swing soundtrack, while the story unfolds.
Explore fantastical lands on your journey through 16 levels—on your way, enjoy the Emerald City, the Scorched Plains, the Wicked Witch's castle, and more.
Unravel the curious alliance Dorothy makes with the Wizard of Oz to settle a score with the maybe not-so-Wicked Witch.
Clash with enemies, collect magic crystals, and activate power-ups, all to an irresistible dance beat.
Immerse yourself in a story that’s as compelling as the effects—a perfect blend of whimsical fantasy and comedy, designed specifically for VR.
Get rocking—work out both your body and mind in an energetic, action-packed adventure.
But don’t take yourself too seriously—navigate the crazy plot twists with your tongue firmly in your cheek.
Easy to play, challenging to master—three modes of difficulty ensure that from Grandma to Game Guru, you’ll enjoy a VR challenge that keeps you moving and tests you to the max.

Thanks for the links will update when I have time.

Also, Happy PSVR and Thread Anniversary to all of you guys who were here day 1 with me to celebrate such a wonderful device. Will try to maintain this thread and its successors for as long as possible :p

So Skyrim is out on the 17th November, followed by The Inpatient on 22nd November (£34.99 in the UK).
Then Doom VFR is out on the 1st December (£19.99), and Bravo Team is out on the 6th December (£34.99).

It's going to be busy (and expensive)...

Thanks for giving us fellow believers a place to share our experiences, excitement and expectations!

Was just playing a bit of Polybius to unwind, and I noticed Hyper Void in my VR folder. I'd never tried it before, but it's ok for a quick game in VR, bit of a cheap Tempest/Polybius clone. I assume it must have been free at some point, because I'm pretty sure I didn't buy it.

It did make me wonder what happened to Futuridium VR: wasn't it meant to be a launch game a year ago? Same with Distance, a futuristic racer that seems to have disappeared. Anyone heard any news on these?

New bundle for EU, at least to my knowledge! Priced at 399USD/337EUR.

PSVR support has been amazing imo! Now I only have to find someone to sell my gen 1 unit so I can get the new one!

VR Worlds without 2 Moves is a crime, even if it is only really used in The London Heist.

So I've had my psvr since launch day in North America.

I played a bunch of games when it came out some made me sick others didnt.

I abandoned it to my closet though because the motion sickness would RUIN me for the rest of my day when I used it.

I tried it again a few months ago when I purchased until dawn rush of blood. Two different play sessions later and two more days ruined from the sickness I put it away again.

Tonight I picked up farpoint vr with the aim controller and tried that out. Made it till just past the first spider things you shoot and had to rip the thing off my face and sit down. Severely soaked in sweat and doing everything in my power to not lose my supper.

Will this ever go away or am I invested into a piece of hardware that I simply cannot stomach and will be forced to sell it?

Tried the Tekken 7 VR Mode... Honestly wouldn't be that bad if you could actually do arcade matches and other shit. But since you can't it's basically useless outside a 5 second novelty.

Motion sickness is extremely common in VR, especially in games with movement, i.e. Farpoint. Start from static/teleport shooters like Dick Wilde, Mortal Blitz, London Heist or even Batman. Considering that you tried once and got sick then threw it aside for months, you will never get used to it. Play it weekly, try out demo, new contents and free stuff. There's a reason why most people who are active here never complain about motion sickness since launch. Back then during launch, there was nothing but tips for motion sickness.
And as VR evolve, static shooters are slowly going away with more full movement game coming in because most of us who are active in VR is fully prepared for it. So give it a try more, get more games.

London Heist has sections with movement.

I highly recommend Super Hot though.

Not bad, especially for that price
Starship Disco (you can import music with a thumbdrive)

And if you like pinball machines PB FX2 is great! Perfect respomse gameplay and you can do a viewpoint reset while standing and back slightly to get really close to the tables which have amazing detail.

Keep Talking is a really fun puzzle game to play with one or more local players - print out the manual or use on screen. Several levels of puzzle difficulty and even playing the same puzzle multiple times it autgenerates a random combination.

Apart from IEYTD most of the games have been on sale before so if you don't pick them up now you may get another sale chance down the line. Set a budget and pick up what you can and you won't be disappointed.

Sorry to hear that. Like Matt said, maybe try and build up with games that don't have as much movement.

Statik is, well, static and is a great game. There's a free demo which might be a good place to start.

Cockpit games are probably the next step, Jackal Assault is free and might be worth a try.

If you can try games like that for a few minutes every other day you may find your tolerance for VR increases.

The extreme end is games like RE7, Farpoint and RIGS. I found RIGS really tough to play on day 1, but gradually got better. With both RE7 and Farpoint I'm fine with smooth movement, but did get a momentary feeling of vertigo when I first turned using the analogue stick.

Hey MattAces, how does Raw Data's tracking compare to Ancient Amuletor? The bow tracking in the demo at least is pretty wonky from some angles, PS Move light occlusion is a problem when pulling the string.
