If anyone knows of any similar songs to this one, let me know! I can feel inspirations from different bands but whereas most bands seem to lean heavier to one source of inspiration or another, I feel this one sits in the middle of them... I think they deserve more views.

They deserve the recognition. Amazing german band, indie rock with massive post-rock and prog-folk influences. Shame they stopped making albums in 2007 or so. One two years ago but it's more theatre music.

They are actually playing in Luxemburg at the end of this month. Thinking about going there. Need my monthly Luxemburg Indie Concert fix.

If you dig them, check out Submotion Orchestra.
Damn that was ace.

You guys have to listen to this whole thing. Probably one of the most impactful songs I've ever heard.

Caesar into Reed Road by Typhoon

Typhoon is far and away my favorite band. They're an 11 person band with this incredibly rich sound and their songs move and evolve like symphonies. Their lead singer/songwriter, Kyle Morton, has been dying of severe Lyme Disease since he was a child and often writes about mortality with this poetic gravity that other singer/songwriters struggle to capture.

But most importantly, their music captures hope. And finding the good in the world and holding onto it tightly. They evoke catharsis more resonantly than any other band I listen to.
