Maybe I should download the xb1 demo and see how it plays.
I thought it was implied that Morgan was willing in that experiment though...
I tried both versions and xboxone defiantly has the better aim.
And man some people are finding all sorts of secrets and accessing areas early

You know, I was leaning towards not feeling it earlier, but then I put almost three hours into a "first hour" demo, so I think that's more of a sign of the game's quality than any issues I had with the music or combat
Gave the demo a second chance when I wasn't playing in the middle of the night and tired. Took my time and took in the environent a bit more. I'm feeling a bit more positive about it. If the input lag is addressed I could enjoy myself with the full game.
I'm still weary of the only antagonists being these typhon aliens. It's just not as interesting as more humanoid characters who's abilities I better understand.
Game is also much more enjoyable with music set to 10 or 20.
In terms of realism, sure. A lot of games looked better than Dishonored 1, Dishonored 2, and Prey, if that's your measure.
But I don't think Arkane has gone for that in any of their games. And realism is far from the only thing that counts in looking "better" visually

Horribly clunky controls (on PS4) made looting/interacting with the environment a pain in the ass, but if they could fix that, there seems to be an enjoyable game beneath.
Really interested/concerned how the PC version is going to turn out. I know the issues in this demo have been acknowledged and possibly already taken care of but with some of these recent releases, especially dishonored 2 (diff team I know), it is making me a little wary.
Still haven't played dishonored 2 because of the technical issues and that was one of my most anticipated titles of last year.
Has there been any word, official or otherwise, about this games performance for PC?

Other than fighting the small mimic enemies and the overly loud music i really liked the demo. The level design is really good which isn't suprising since dishonoured had the same thing and the game world seems really cool as well.Seems like it could be an 8 to perhaps 8.5 kinda game which is more than good enough for me to buy.
You can turn the music down.
Wait whatAlso, remember to use Slo-mo, it's a gamechanger!
Combat Focus. It slows time down for a number of seconds.Wait what
The more I think about it the more upset I am that I refuse to play a game because of music from Mick Gordan. I mean I loved the doom soundtrack so hard but prey literally gives me a headache when the combat kicks in. It's heartbreaking to me.

Really liked this demo, I've player the first one at the time but didn't read anything about this one (not because I didn't want to but I wasn't interested).
The atmosphere is incredible, really liked how they made the introduction twist although it was a little expected (but I guess it was supposed to be).
I did not find the answer here, but is the end of the demo made clear in game or is it only the end when you see a door closed in game ?
Basically you can fool around in the main lobby after a certain point, but you can't progress thru to the next story mission as yeah, it's labeled on a door accordingly
I just played around some more with the physics as well as the recycler/fabricator systems-- I found 3 blueprints total
Thanks, that's what I thought.
It's actually a great idea since there is still some other stuff to do and other parts to explore that I would probably never see if there was just an end demo credits at this door.
No I mean that this game tries to be Half Life 3 in its place. Instead of being Prey, I'm in a sequel to other games. To enjoy this game, I would have to be wishing I was playing something else. You played System Shock 3 and Half-Life 3?
How was the future? Do we get to stab our needles into the eye to get better abilities?

Seems fun as long as the input lag is fixed. My only other concern is enemy variety. Lots of mimics in this early area and then I saw1 larger mimic that looked like a human.
It sounds likeHow our brother reacts to mimick being out, how he wants it cleaned up, wants to know if our Morgan is taken care of AND still has us reset to same day again instead of restoring our memories... If our Morgan is willing for that we craycray
Just reached the part where you find ahow much demo left?pistol
I played the demo on the PS4 Pro(anyone know if it supports pro or will have it at launch/patched in?).
I dig the overall look and feel....it's giving me Half Life vibes and the Gaben look alike at the beginning...hahaha.
However as others have mentioned, Bethesda needs to tighten up the UI/controls. It seemed sloppy/jitterly/not accurate when getting prompted to turn on a light or pick something up.
Will be waiting for a ton of impressions and fellow reviews before I even consider a purchase as there's a ton of games in both my PS4 Pro/PC library to keep me busy right now.
