It's a bit confusing at first because you have to be way more careful with the stick, but after 5-10 minutes I quite liked it.
Is it better than Test Drive Unlimited? I actually kinda liked the bikes in that game...

Totally different games, i dont expect pgr style fun while i play gt and i dont expect gt depth while i play pgr4 is that so hard for people to get there heads around.

Well that is why you love pswii60 :D

I'm glad you're getting this game we will have to race lots in it as I'm losing respect for Birdie by the minute with his talk of Scions :lol

PGR has an easy medal to play for each race. That's the great thing about PGR - as you get better you can try each race/challenge at a harder level and get more kudos/higher medals/trophies to boot.
You don't understand how terrible I am at racing games. I never managed to stay on the course for an entire lap of the trial course in PGR3. Not once.

Try going slower and breaking BEFORE the turns.

Ooooh nice one Blim. Now I got a nice version of 'Shadow' to listen to at my laptop.:D
You can actually buy the track from i-tunes and 7digital.com its from the 'Vexille' Soundtrack its a slightly differnt version from PGR4 though (Shadow is also on the end credits for 'Reverb' ;) )

You tell me :)

Kind of hard for me to judge, since I can see jaggies in that pic but usually when I play games on my HDTV the jaggies look less noticeable than in screencaps. How's it look when you play; less jaggies than in PGR3? =P

It looks to me like they're doing motion blur in a different manner, as object blur doesn't seem confined to blurring along the polygonal edges...seems to actually stretch the fence out in a much more realistic fashion.

Another motion blurry mess, all presented in glorious 30 fps.

Hallelujah!

no, thats "driving emotion type s" on ps2 :p PGR at least uses motion blur in the right places, not the entire screen like that game, it made my eyes burn

Hehe, ok. Never tried that one :)

Pgr3 cone racing was horrible, i couldn´t focus on the blurred cones. The entire game was rather bad imo.

Added another video, shangai by night.

It just keeps coming, going to have to tidy up uTorrent in a bit :D

The bikes do look fun, and I can see the potential for bikes vs car, but at the moment I haven't seen a player do a good job of handling the bike. They just seem to take corners too early, or from the previous video, run into the back of cars. I do love the animations on the cyclists though, does look great.

If you don't mind me asking, how does the handling feel compared to PGR3. Did the driving model feel similar, or was it a PGR2-PGR3 sized difference.
It's pretty much the same as PGR3, with some minor tuning according to the devs.

Ok cool. I was fairly happy with PGR3's driving model so that's good news (and also means I can practice up on PGR3 so I'm ready to pwn you guys when this drops). :D

Then I'll start working on the camera footage/interviews. Lots of cool stuff :)

blim did you check out the career garages? still able to walk by the cars and move them in garages?
nice stuff or what?

I hope this time there is more space for the cars, 'cause in pgr3 it was a problem, especially if you had bought the extra car packs.

PGR3 did use blurring too much, but that was to hide the unfinishedness of the game :p

i suggest you track down driving emotion type s just to punish your eyes

hard to show in screenies, but you get the idea, it was so horrible

edit: the controls were awful too :p

Edit: ZOMG!

been waiting for this! i cant wait to see if they have returned to glory! ...or, at the very least, made the cones easier to see.

this game is so incredibly anticipated by me. cant wait. graphically, it looks like a fine tuned version of 3, but 3 is still the best looking racer out there imo, so thats no big deal :)

hehehe, i r winnar!

I've had Gamersyde open all day waiting for these vids. I can't wait for PGR4, even if they have removed the Ferrarri F50 *thumbsdown.gif*

But I want my F50!!! *stamps feet like a small child*

I'm also a bit bummed about the DeLorean being a Class G, but considering it took Marty about 5 minutes of driving around a parking lot to hit 88mph, whilst being tailed by a VW camper van, its probably what I should have expected really.
