I feel the exact same way.
If you like the first one, make sure you try out the second one. It improves on the formula and is overall the better game. There's a demo on the store and the full game is only $8.
The UK sale was in early Feb. They didn't offer any free games though.
Sumioni has a demo, I didn't think much of it. I got Dokuro in the sale, the puzzle gameplay is fun, but the controls aren't quite right and the game is apparently 18 hours long, which for me, is just too long for what it is.
