　ファミ通調べによると、2014年2月22日に発売されたプレイステーション4の国内販売台数が、発売2日間で32万2083台となったことが明らかに（集計期間：2014年2月22日～23日）。

　なお、プレイステーション3の国内初週販売台数は、88443台だった（集計期間：2006年11月11日～11月12日）。

Considering it's not a holiday and there are basically no games that cater to Japanese gamers, I don't think that's all that bad.

PS4 sells over 300K in first 2 days in Japan. That's pretty damn impressive.

322k with barely any japanese games is pretty good, it will probably fall off a cliff like wii u and vita though

350k is perfectly normal launch shipment for Japan.

Pretty good launch I would say... It is in line with the 3DS's launch numbers. Hopefully it will do about as well as 3DS in Japan and not collapse in sales in the next few weeks. Yeah, it is in line with Wii U and Vita launch numbers, but unlike the Wii U and the Vita, PS4 will actually be relevant in nations other than Japan, which means the Japanese will probably support the PS4 more than Wii U or Vita, especially if it sells about as good as 3DS does in Japan.
