Why would you not expect a bland menu system not to be snappy? We're not looking at anything complex here so I don't understand why you would expect it to be anything other than lightning quick.
Looks boring, but as long as it's fast I'll be happy.
My thoughts exactly.
Speed should be a given, considering the processing power. I'd prefer it if it was less dull and actually, you know, a little innovative.

The option to change Username seems to be the same as you get on the PS3, it allows you to change the Username and the icon that shows on the XMB.looks quick
display name change? ( prob not)
Please jebus, ditch that horrendous new PS Store. Is it still a separate app? Store Preview seems to be the new "What's New"

Well, I mean, look at the 360 OS. Its very minimal, and terrible in regards too smoothness and speed.
Once you see it up and running with images, music, backgrounds it looks fucking sweet. 1080p 60fps and snappy as fuck. Drops in and out of games like Vita (i.e. FAST), and it's really neat to use.

Hardly terrible. At least they've evolved the dashboard tremendously over time. Horses for courses I suppose. I've always found the XMB on PS3 horrendous in comparison to the 360 dashboard.

How much of the UI, background etc can you personalize at the moment?
Personally don't like the look but at least it's snappy and functional, They also need to replace those old icons already.
I'm confused, people complain about overly designed UIs and say they want something simple. This is simple and you can customize it like the PS3/Vita but people are saying it looks "bland"? Isn't this the best decision because you can change it to make it look like this:
Can you comment on its multitasking capability? Is it badass like the Vita?
That looks much better. All that blue is too much for me.

Can you explain the customisation possibilities please?Badass, as far as suspending the game, looking at friends, trophies, sharing vids, images etc. It's very very fast just like the Vita (except now Trophies, Friends isn't an app you open like on Vita, thankfully).
