Glad I kept my move controllers. Gonna need the camera though.
i just bought the PS4 camera today based solely on this rumor for 30$ Could see the value of those bounce back up to retail values...

The standard Rift controller (XBO pad) won't work in a game like Budget Cuts, unless you're suggesting they remove hand tracking altogether (obviously doubtful)I nearly used the recent Vive demo day as examples of games you'd need move controllers for. But thinking about it, a bunch of them you could totally play with a DS4. The mini golf game, Budget Cuts and a few others could definitely be updated to support a standard controller (especially if they want to release on OR).
If it's only $400 in Canada then that wouldn't be so bad.

A DS4 has good 3D position and orientation tracking, but whenever you turn the DS4 in a way that hides the lightbar, you'd get an inferior experience. Or the camera would have to analyze the scene and track your body not unlike Kinect, but I don't know how feasible that would be.
So, about those Move controllers. What exactly do we need? One motion and one navigational controller?
Or two motion controllers?
Probably two motion controllers. I don't think I've heard of a single PSVR demo using the nav controller.
To be honest $300 sounds too cheap. The hardware is very similar to the Oculus Rift except PSVR also has a processing box that would add to the cost of it and if Palmer said they're barely (Or not at all) making money at the Rift's price point of $600 I can't see Sony going lower especially this much lower.
Anybody thinking something like "Well Sony can afford to take a loss for software purposes" should realize they won't be willing to take that big of a loss if any at all since PlayStation has been in the black and turning around their financials since the PS4 launch.

Hope there is a HMD plus camera only. Already have them moves. excuse the pun
I always get Budget Cuts confused with Job Simulator, which is nothing but hand-tracking. Budget Cuts has the knife-throwing and shooting mechanics though- both of which are funner and more immersive with motion controls, weigh the gameplay as the developers intended, and are more physically tolerable than aiming with your head.I'm totally suggesting that. I see nothing particular in the game that couldn't be done with a controller. headlook + button to open drawers/pickup items. And the movement via teleportation lends itself well to a standing experience, which would translate fine to sitting with a controller IMO.
I'm not saying it would be as immersive as walking around with vive controllers, but I think it'd be absolutely playable.

The PS3 Move controllers work with the PS4, and with PSVR. There is no Move 2.0.I have a PS4 camera & I also have the MOVE for my PS3, will the PS3 MOVE work with this or is there a MOVE 2.0?
£350 isn't bad, what about £375 with a VR game?

Ehh. I don't see that working for Budget Cuts. They've already expressed that they'd need to rework the game quite a bit to work with the Move controller due to the one camera setup. I kind of doubt they'd bother with another whole version of the game that worked with the DS4. A lot of that game involves two handed actions and precise flicking (with the knives).
Wouldn't a game like rigs need a man controller?i don't know if rigs even supports move
It's going to be interesting to see what devs do if PSVR is a success (also the standard OR). Why leave money on the table unless your game absolutely cannot be adapted to a different control scheme?

They "work with PSVR" but there's no way Sony's not going to release a new version that's PSVR-branded. At the very least they have to rename the Start/Select buttons. I wouldn't but it past them to include some other upgrades as well but I don't expect they'll just continue to sell Move controllers as-is. But you're right, they wouldn't call it "Move 2.0".

Only $150 cheaper than the Rift?
Makes me glad I own a decently equipped PC. I think the Rift will provide a better VR experience.
i don't think we know about Move 2.0 yet, but they have said that PS3 Move's do work. They will most likely release a new model though with Micro-usb ports atleast.
And "VR Game" can be just some short techdemos.

Octodad and Surgeon Simulator, and the Just Dances. That's it off the top of my head.I would think it would & should come with some tech-demos anyway or at least some that can be downloaded from the PSN store, but if it is also bundled with a game or choices of game/s then it would somewhat off-set the cost, how about a VR Alien Isolation for example?
I have just put mine on charge!
I have never used them with the PS4, I didn't use them much at all on my PS3, is there anything for them currently on the PS4?
I don't know about Alien Isolation but PSVR will surely come with some free games/demos/experiences.I would think it would & should come with some tech-demos anyway or at least some that can be downloaded from the PSN store, but if it is also bundled with a game or choices of game/s then it would somewhat off-set the cost, how about a VR Alien Isolation for example?
I mean you could rebrand them, but I don't see the point. You can't see the controllers when you're in the headset lol. The visual inside the helmet of where to push will be much more important.
i think we should see occulus as an indication on the price. 300 is pretty much dreaming territory.

Just don't actually buy any until Sony announces price/packing, since this rumor is 100% BSAlright, thanks! I guess the hunt for cheap controllers can begin
