Remember the Cybertron games by High Moon Studios? such a shame they never caught on

2010 - Transformers: War for Cybertron
2012 - Transformers: Fall of Cybertron

In 2013, High Moon Studios was gutted by Activision and made into a Call of Duty support studio, but they had something really cool going on with the Cybertron games. They didn't just abuse and copy the movies but followed the old-school Transformers lore and developed two really cool third-person shooters.

They were unique games, hard to compare them to other shooters. I have always felt they were underrated, no-nonsense types of games with great use of the Transformer license.

The multiplayer was also pretty solid.

Yeah I was just thinking about these the other day.
Really fun games, it's a shame the franchise didn't stick around. Would have loved to see what they did with it on Ps4/Xb1.

The first one was excellent, the second one though was too half assed.

The console versions had better effects than the pc version but ran like crap.

The levels were no where near as good as the first game.

You would think that with all the material available from transformers with the awesome characters (cars, trucks, animals, dinosaurs, a cassette deck transforming into giant robots? What more do you need!) and stories that we would have More games.
