I do badly want another mainline numbered entry in the series. I loved AC5: The Unsung War on PS2 and even AC6: Fires of Liberation on Xbox 360. Last gen, 360 got the only numbered entry in the series, as an exclusive. Now I feel it's PS4's turn.

I definitely agree, infinity is pretty fun too, especially considering that the F2P aspect doesn't really hinder it too much. Now I'm really looking forward since we're getting piston planes now.

Does anyone else feel it's intentional that there has not been a Ridge Racer game on PS4, not even a single hint or rumor of one? It's as if Namco and Sony know the franchise has had a bad name in recent years and they're keeping it away from PS4.
That or Namco just doesn't have the development staff and / or inspiration to make a new Ridge Racer.

And the timing now is the worst with T7 and SFV this close. Last year would have been better as a fighting game. Can't remember much other than Ultra on PC and Xrd and Smash for fighting side. Much tamer than 2012-2013.DD seems to be in a better position compared to the 5 years TXSF has been out of sight.

I really wouldn't call that a "trilogy" I would love to see a prequel with Largo and his "friends" and some kind of crossover with Welkin and Isara's dads in war time.
At least we've had a spiritual successor (arguably 2 of them). Can't say the same about Shadow Hearts =(
