Serious Sam 3 Screenshots (Summer, PC/Consoles, 16 Player Co-op)

Looks surprisingly awesome! Bullshots?
PC.

EDIT: Though in a way it's not really representative of what the game will look like when you play it. I wish they had shown some actual gameplay shots as well.

The cyclops monsters look a lot less like Domo-kun now :p

compared to Serious Sam HD:

16 player co-op on console seems a little hard to believe, but they said it.

Anyway I'm ready, the amount of polygons per krundle on display are astounding.

It looks... great I guess. Am I the only one not thrilled with the environments? SS2 was a disappointment, but I love the surreal look of the world. This looks too... um... serious even with the cartoony aliens.

The bomb-strapped kamikaze enemies from Bulletstorm reminded me of Serious Sam a lot. I have almost no doubt that was an homage of sorts, given the type of game Bulletstorm is.

as someone who was there since the test demo of the first (and got into beta testing the level editing tools and early demo builds) i have to say... tis a good day.

2011 is a nostalgia year for PC gaming. hopefully it will be a banner year too.

“Holy crap, I am going to make a boatload of cash of this game,” said Fork Parker, chief financial officer at Devolver Digital, the Serious Sam 3: BFE publisher. “I mean that’s what this is all about, right? If this thing comes out in the summer my wife is totally getting the tit job she’s been asking for.”

Serious Sam 3 will bring the boom to PC and game consoles this summer.

When asked for further comment, Fork replied, “Bam. Tit job.”
Can't stop laughing.

Yeah I think you're probably right.

Unless I missed something, they didn't specifically say 16 player co-op on console, they just touted 16-player co-op in the press release about both versions. I'd expect reduced player counts on consoles, but I'd love to be wrong.

This looks amazing! With 16 player co-op and the quality of these graphics, seems like they're really pushing the graphics in this. Curious to see what the system requirements are for this.

16-player co-op sounds crazy as hell.
The problem is, that you really need dedicated servers for this to make it a smooth experience. I never had a smooth coop game with SSHD on the PC.

I look forward to today's crop of talentless hacks rating this game down because it's way too fucking awesome for them to comprehend. I mean, they didn't "get" the Serious Sam HD remakes, and they're still up there with pornography as some of the most fun you can have with a mouse, a keyboard, and an internet connection.

Bam. Tit job.

Did anyone try 16 player co-op with SSHD?
Yeah... it was overwhelming. I just hopped in a pub game on PC and wasn't really sure what was going on haha. I'm okay with co-oping with just a buddy or two really.

Shake it baby, Tit-job vs Dick-tits.

GO!

Seriously though, that second screenshot just looks amazing...kinda wish there was some game with zombie Nazi space pirates though.

Oh and to those asking, yes Serious Sam is supposed to take place in "the real world" much like Duke Nukem. The whole deal with the series is to place the player in loosely realistic environments, with outlandish enemy and weapon designs.

Croatians know how to make a good game ;D

Definitely will pick this up at some point, even though I've never been a fan of these types of shooters, but it looks soooo good.

Plus I gotta support my people.

Today's game reviewers: What is is this, no iron sights? The levels are too big, I don't where to go. The story lacks meaningful matures themes, like COD or Killzone. I need a cutscene every five minutes to fully immerse me into the story. Terrible game, worst FPS of the year-7.0 out of 10.

I'm ready to get serious again, and with screenshots like that, it seems Croteam is too.

Let's hope it actually is this Summer and doesn't suffer the interminable schedule slip of the SSHD games.

That is awesome.

I love the look of their engine, Guess all those years of silence is paying off. Day 1 without a doubt.
